Mark Kostabi illustra, in modo ironico e divertente, le 6 regole d'oro per diventare un artista ricco e famoso. He studied drawing and painting at California State University. He moved to New York, where he became a leading figure in the East Village Art Movement. In 1988 he founded "Kostabi World", an integrated complex of study, gallery and office, famous for the employment of assistant painters and creative, through which he tackles the theme of the commodification of contemporary art. Kostabi had as reference points Duchamp first and Warhol then. He then approached all European painting not only as quotations in his paintings but also as a philosophy of work, appropriating the concept of the artist workshops in which assistant students collaborate in the realization of a work. Painter, writer, composer, producer, Mark Kostabi is considered one of the most eclectic and influential artists of the postmodern era. During his multi-faceted career, he designed record covers (for Guns N' Roses and The Ramones) as well as watches for Swatch; he published several books and produced his own TV show. Very interesting talk. I'm not sure I agree entirely with what you say an artist should do to become rich and famous, but you proposals certainly make me consider the question. I tell people that I speak Italian fluently, but I could never deliver a TED talk. Congratulations.

Purtroppo concordo su tutto quanto lei ha detto. Concordo perché è logico e razionale. Dico purtroppo perché non parlando inglese non potrei dialogare con artisti ne altri soggetti newyorchesi e quindi non potendo creare contatti ne scambi utili sarebbe inutile per me vivere li. Non so se può darmi consigli su come possa io far conoscere la mia arte pur non parlando inglese. In ogni caso grazie 1000 per la lucidità che ci ha messo a disposizione.
