I have prayed most of my life to have someone to teach and explain the gospel of Jesus to me. I have been so blessed to have been introduced to your KZbin channel by your cousin, who was in my Mountain Vista Ward in Mesa, Arizona. She has passed on now, but she gave me that answer to my prayers. And you are continuing to feed my soul with the Word. Amen

I found your channel in 2020. Actually my daughter found it and shared it with me. There’s no one that teaches the way you do. I feel blessed to be one of your students!.

Thank you so much for doing these lessons. Like so many, I look forward to each one being posted, sometimes listen more than once. We pray for you and your family, knowing it is a sacrifice and much work to produce these lessons. You are an example of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. ❤

What a beautiful explanation on Hebrews chapter 1 and 2. The spirit touched me deeply as you taught these chapters and I appreciate very much your insights that you shared with us. I really believe that the doctrine of condescension of Jehovah is a stumbling block that our evangelical Christian brothers and sisters do not comprehend, yet it is so beautifully taught here by Paul and the Spirit has confirmed this to me through your powerful teaching. Thank you, Brother Halvorsen for all that you do for so many of us who thirst for such knowledge and understanding!

Jared, I very rarely comment on anything, however you need to know that my husband and I have followed you since the Doctrine and Covenence year-- every lesson all the way through and we went back and went through The Book of Mormon. You have never failed to lift us and encourage us to more indepth reading of the scriptures and more understaning of the plan and the love of our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I have come to love things I never thought I would and understand many things much better than before. I know the Lord is opening the eyes and hearts of those who want to learn of Him and follow Him. My personal study is so much deeper as I read on my own, both the scriptures and the words of others. Thank you! I wish I could give you a big hugh of thanks but this comment will have to do for now. Love the format. You have gotten better since Book of Mormon days. I like the addition of the one liners as well as all the things you do to inspire us to study more consistently and with greater reliance on the spirit. Thanks again!!! We love and pray for you and your family from Arizona

I pray every day for the Savior to come, but some days I tell Father in Heaven that I can be patient as long as I am able to continue to learn the gospel better. Thank you for helping me in that effort.❤

Infirmity also refers to a physical weakness or illness. He took that on as well. There is nothing we can suffer that He hasn’t felt.

He's saying that certain verses are from psalms. That are not even in the foot notes. So impressive. Such profound commentary. I'm just half way through this video. Just so in awe of this resource.

Sometimes it is hard to stay dedicated to study for what ever the reason my be, but when you are ready with the eyes to see and ears to hear, you will be in for a real treat. When I feel the lessons get long , I've found that need to find a prayer of graditude. I always have keep a mind of graditude, because he doesn't have to do these video lessons! But out of the graciousness of his heart, he continues to do so. I too have learned that on some of these lessons, I have to pace myself. But I find myself getting impatient from these, I need remind myself to be grateful and then return when I'm in the right mind of graditude and hunger for the gospel. Good luck.

As always I love learning! For some reason your statement about God could flick His finger . . . . I do not remember exactly what it was in context to but I keep asking myself, “Why doesn’t He?”.

Love being able to turn to your podcast to learn verse by verse. Awesome. The painting that is your backdrop for Heb 1-6... Is it's name Captain of Salvation, and who painted it? Can I find it somewhere?

Is it not possible that the Book of Hebrews may have been a joint epistle of all the apostles (the quorum of the 12) similar to the proclamations we have in our day on The Family and The Living Christ? With no clear author or writing style, and with a cumulative concern for the converts of their collective ancestry, they may have counseled together on a “proclamation” to the Hebrew Christians. Personally, I like the idea of collective leadership coming together in a unified message to the masses, just like the Lord’s apostles do today.

Hebrews 7-13 pt 2. Moses 5:18. "And Cain loved Satan more than God. And Satan commanded him(Cain) saying Make an offering unto the Lord.". Cain's offering was not accepted.

1:28 1/3 cast themselves down, Cain why is thy countenance cast down? 1/3 were valiant 1/3 were on the fence, defense, non-committed. Ask a rock 🪨, "which side are you on?" Ask air, "Who do you obey?" After creation existed. What can these, creations, say to you about their faith, obedience or opinions? Then there the luke warm sitting on the same fence next to the rocks 🪨 and air. You cant si on the fence. You have to be hot 🔥 🥵 or cold 🥶 🧊 or if you are luke warm, like all of the fence sitters and the leaves 🍃 dried in the fall on the deck and the railings, you aee swept off ans spewed out like rain water in the gutters all the way past the firdt tree to those that grew up by the fence at the property line. You see 1/3 fast with Christ and the Holy Spirit in Christ, 1/3 fast with the Holy Spirit without Christ and 1/3 leaving swiftly, including ue own errors and sins we have repented of and the evil which so easily besets us. It will happen if we dont hang on to our embarassment and guilt too long, making sin and error our god instead Of the One God Holy Spirit in and without Christ and Heavenly Parents and in and about ourselves like unto One God together ❤.

Yes. there is another 1/3. How can there be 4/3rds? The 4th 1/3rd I'd NO THING. SO DON'T worry about it. No thing is not a God unless you make it a God to yourself.

Considering the visual aid depicted where Jesus is supposedly " walking on water "......if this is the limit of your understanding of the truth of that event.....you are in need to seek for a greater understanding. HEBEL EST OMNIS ADAM

So you're saying a god sent his son who is also a god . God created jesus and yet you pray to jesus even though God is the one with the most power. Doesn't sound understandable.
