Charity-Claire here from Missouri. Charity crosses all boundaries and knows no bounds or limits to practice as we try to be unified in our families, our communities, and with God, Jesus, my brother, and the Holy Spirit. There are countless ways we can be charitable to each other, so give it a try, you just might be pleasantly surprised. Appreciate all you do each week for us watching, learning and doing.

I Love this lesson. I shared with my kids on Tuesday night 1 Corinthians chapter 12. And tonight (Wednesday) we read Moroni 10. I just cried most of the way through. picturing Moroni writing this for all who read it and writing it with the spirit of the Lord. so many nights in my home the advisory feels like he's there trying to tear us apart, trying to stop us from reading our scriptures, to not pray as a family, and not to get along. I often wonder if the spirit is ever in my home. Even if it is not. reading Moroni 10 tonight sure made it feel like it was in me. I'm not sure if the kids felt it but they know I love the Lord - Provo, Utah I listen while I am at work and look forward to you each week. I need to do better and have a journal on hand.

As a Catholic convert, who was raised in parochial school, and was an alter boy etc (you could count on one hand the number of Sundays we missed mass), I love the 'different voices enhance and beautify the Choir' analogy! Thank you! 👍

Steve, I promise to be charitable with my eternal companion, as soon as Father in Heaven provides her for me, as I was really not with my companions who were difficult. Perhaps I should have been. I learn from my experiences. Improvement and progression have one eternal round.

Well, I sent you a message but it was for a week early in August. My mistake, so here I go again. I was so happy to meet both of you earlier today in the temple and have a nice visit. I came home and listened to this podcast and thought of a poem I wrote several years ago that ties in to the theme of this weeks lesson. I hope it is not to long to share here... Harmony In music every note is important but no note on its own creates melody or the possibility for harmony A sensitive ear carefully organizes the sharps and flats and pauses of music written first upon the heart before transposed to paper Let us write upon our hearts then and lovingly accept each other's sharps and flats and let us pause with sensitivity to realize each one's importance that as a human family we might enjoy the beauty of harmony I love you both. Thank you for all the time and effort you give to bless the lives of so many. Love Jerris

Thank you for a more excellent lesson on charity and sharing our gifts with others. However, some voices don’t belong in any choir. They belong in the speaking parts of the program.

Thank you so much I also have to teach the 11-12 year olds tomorrow and I’m glad I found your channel a couple of months ago I learn a lot from both of you keep up the good work, the word for the week is Charity and whosoever posses it at the end shall be saved or like it says in Moroni 7:47 But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him. And I’m in Orlando, Florida ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What I wrote in my journal about this lesson: 1 Corinthians 11:11, Feminism and "toxic masculinity" is false doctrine. We are all alike unto Father in Heaven. As pertaining to "false translation," incidentally, this week's Come Follow Me has no JST references. Everything Paul said is how the Lord intended it to be. Also, 1 Corinthians 9:24, "run that ye may obtain." I LOVE covering state track and field at BYU each May because all of the track and field athletes have such great attitudes and are always smiling. I'm covering football right now and while we love football, Steve, it's obvious there is much anger there. Controlled aggression is how the game is played. Also, 1 Corinthians 12: Paul speaks of spiritual gifts, such as the interpretation of tongues and the discernment of tongues. I am a skilled polyglot. I work on these languages each week: Bulgarian, Polish, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Greek, Spanish. I try to add Cyrillic Serbian as well. I highly recommend the Embark app!

Thankful for this lesson and the sweet way you share it. We can never learn to much about Christlike charity. Till we meet again. Celanie also Elder Niutupuivaha served here in Medicine Hat and had dinner at my place. I thought he was a very spiritual elder.

This week's study lesson, I really enjoyed Chapters 12-13. I have the "New Testament - Journal Edition", well . . . I've got so much written on those 2 chapters, you can barely read the scriptures!!! Things that stood out to me, I wrote in bold lettering, such as: Charity, Hesed, Agape, Love, Spiritual Gifts, A More Excellent Way, Jesus Christ, God is Love and somehow, I also was able to put some notes. Thank you both for enlightening me on the scriptures. I was not given the gift of interpretation, so sometimes I have a difficult time understanding what's being said. Thank you again.

I love, love, love reading in the scriptures about charity. It is a great reminder on where we need to redirect or refocus our lives. I need to consider finding wall art that has the definition of charity from 1 Corinthians 13. Maybe put it on the wall across from the toilet where we have a few quiet moments to reflect. LOL I am also a numbers person. Haha. I see certain numbers on my clock that coincide with a birthdate or something else and I think of the person and silently wish them a happy birthday. LOL As usual, thank you so very much for sharing your talents with you Come, Follow Me messages for Connecting Up! You're the best!

Hmm charity , I have been studying it and how to have charity. I think having unity with others we will have more charity. Knowing others better and understanding them helps us develop the pure love of Christ for others. If I had to describe charity I couldn’t in a way that makes sense, it’s something we need to feel. Love your lessons, much good for thought. From Missouri

Yes, Chelsea. 1 Corinthians 10:13 is vital. Also, Paul tells us, in regard to the Sacraments, be they true or false is up to us of course, that if we fail to examine ourselves before partaking weekly, and should partake guiltily, we are guilty of the blood and body of the Redeemer. That's pretty terrifying. Let us examine ourselves meticulously lest we stumble.
