Thank you for the many decades of devoted study you have invested, so God could use you as His instrument to teach us, and thank you for the many sacrifices you and your family have made, are making, and are willing to make-note the three verb tenses there-to accomplish this fascinating and miraculous source of truth. I didn't think we could top the learning I experienced during our study of the Old Testament, but our journey through the New Testament has been a revelation to me. I am an educator myself and have taught in front of a camera and no students. I find it almost impossible to pull off, but you can do it so effectively hour after hour, week after week. What an amazing gift. Thank you again for your incredible offering.

The words of our Prophets, Seers, and Revelators can be added to the Canon of scripture, too. Like President Nelson said, "Take your vitamin pills, get your rest, it's going to be exciting." And "between now and the Saviors return, we will see the greatest manifestations of his power this world has ever seen..." The Savior will be with us to strengthen and bless us to the very end.

Thank you so much Bro. Halverson for all your time, preparation and teaching us this year. Your wrap up summery lead me to reflect on this last year and all that has happened for me in my life, losing my youngest brother almost 1 year ago, health issues for my wife and myself, our children's things going on in their lives, and in all, the marveling of it all and the knowledge of our Father in Heavens plan that brings peace to our souls if we but try our best to do those things he wants and needs us to do. I am so thankful for the knowledge and faith I have in our Father in Heaven. Your teaching has done nothing more than strengthen those feelings and beliefs and I am eternally grateful for finding you and having you teach me. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I was a Temple guide at the Laie Temple in the late '60's while I attended school and do not recall anyone explaining the symbolism of the water pools to me. It makes so much sense now. Thank you for this. This was before missionaries were assigned to temples. We took guests up to the Temple explained to the the friezes on the top of the Temple. Copies of these friezes have now been copied and placed by the Visitors Center. I also loved showing the visitors the Banyan tree growing behind the Temple.

Bro Halverson, I know so many have expressed their appreciation and thanks to you for opening the scriptures to us in a way we hadn't known before. I echo ALL their comments. I have learned so very much from you - to see the 'burning bush and turn aside', to watching tense, verbs, nouns, phrases and most of all- to stop and 'visualize' the scenes being presented in all the books of scripture. My mind has been expanded, my teaching improved and my love not only for the scriptures but for Father and Jesus increased and intensified. I love the cross referencing to other scriptures making me see the "one great whole", " finding Jesus ", "hearing Father" and ' growing up in God". I have followed you from the inception of Unshaken and treasure my time immersed in your teaching. You are simply the best thing that has come out of a Pandemic- and I believe there are no such things as coincidences in the workings of the Plan. Forgive me the lengthy comment - it is hard to express my deep appreciation and growth in a few words. I guess I shall say a heartfelt and deep Thank you and may you be blessed beyond measure for your gift to us.

Dear Bro. Halverson Thank you so much for your time and knowledge that you share with all of us! I was raised one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and it took me 50 years to overcome that ingrained prohibition in Revelation to not add to scripture! I wasn't sure about this Joseph Smith and his new Bible, but I reluctantly decided to give it a try, and it was that first missionary's explanation of what the book of Mormon was (and wasn't) that made it possible for me to continue to listen and learn, and join the Church... I look forward to next year and continuing to learn from you as we study the Book of Mormon!

I have come to this same understanding but it was in regard to journaling. For me and mine (not saying this is for all) it will be reading/learning about how we (progenitors) have overcome through our stories of trials, temptation, heartache and abuse and how we overcame those obstacles with His Grace and the power incumbent within His Atonement. Our posterity, growing up in the Millennial era will learn and understand the trickery, sophistry and destructive powers of Satan as they read how we overcame. My writings are very raw, real and honest-I willing show and express my flaws and foibles as well as how the Savior has shown me where I have room to grow. But I also readily express His guiding hand and Love. He has brought me through Hell and that saga has been captured in real time through my writings. I will forever be grateful for Him. I call these learning moments Horribly Wonderful.

Thank you Brother Halverson. I must admit that, in the past, I have avoided much of the bible. I try to study it but I get bogged down because there is so much there that I don't understand and it doesn't make sense to me. I know it is true and the word of God and that we should study it but it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Because of you and the way you teach your podcasts this year and last year in the Old Testament, I now have a much better understanding of the Old and New Testament and understand why we need to study them and what purpose they have for our day and for me personally. My favorite book of scripture is the Book of Mormon because, to me, it is so much plainer. So, I am really looking forward to this years study of the Book of Mormon. But, I just had to send a quick note to thank you for opening up my eyes and broadening my understanding of the Old and New Testaments. I had to laugh when you said you were long-winded because yes, you are. But I have to wonder, if you weren't, how much we would be missing. So thank you. I look forward to your podcasts, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. My friend actually told me about your podcasts during the 1st part of the Old Testament studies and I'm so thankful she did because, if not, I would still be struggling to understand.
