3:24 I recently got a spider tattoo by an artist I like but the design wasn’t really my style. I’m glad I told her I wasn’t feeling it because she asked me a few questions and then came back like 15 mins later with an AMAZING design that I absolutely love. Listen to Ogi, don’t force it if it doesn’t fit for you! :) Love the tattoo Julen!

​@@twocheeky I TOTALLY understand being too nervous to say you don't like the tattoo design bc ofc you probably don't want to offend the artist but just remember that is it going on your body forever. When I got my second tattoo, I felt bad telling the artist I wasn't 100% with the design so I didn't say anything and now I'm left with a permanent tattoo that I don't hate but I don't love either. If you tell an artist the design they made for you isn't your style or what you're looking for and the artist makes you feel bad or they're being pushy about it, DON'T get a tattoo from them. Most artists are super cool and understanding though, so don't be afraid to speak up! :)

I got a half sleeve sh scar coverup done a couple of weeks ago. I wanted a couple of dragonflies and a moth, with forest plants in the background. My artist made an amazing design with the bugs and plants, but drew one plant inverted (background was shaded, the plant was only linework). It looked hella cool but I got scared that it might overshadow the bugs (which were the centerpiece of the tattoo) and that it would look out of place considering the other plants weren't inverted, so I sent a really apologetic text with the request to change the design. He changed it immediately and it came out absolutely freaking gorgeous. He also reiterated that I had nothing to apologise for, considering it'll be on my body forever. Now that it's done, I am in love with it, especially because the scars underneath it carried such a heavy load. Speak up y'all, it's so worth it.

That turned out amazing! I've been really wanting to get my sleeve finished. This makes me want more ink NOW. I haven't gotten tatted in 4 years, when I got my grandsons footprint on my forearm. It needs to be fixed as the "artist" wasn't really into doing it. I would've walked before he started if he had the attitude beforehand. He rushed my work and it looks like it.
