A wee tip for making you sauce a bit quicker - warm up the milk first (I put it in a jug in the microwave) and it'll absorb more quickly into the 'roux' you've made with the flour and butter with no lumps!

Hello Josie, I was laughing at your milk bag situation, you put the bag of milk into a milk jug. We do that all the time in Canada! I believe, the basic recipe for a roux is 2T milk, 2T flour, and 2 cups of flour. Happy Christmas!
