The Cleveland Markets have been a part of the community for over 30 years and I remember visiting them as a little girl. I become a regular of these markets in 2015 and you will find me there every Sunday (rain, hail or shine) from 7am to 1pm.

It's a lot of work, but I do love it. Putting up the walls helps me watch the stall but for the most part people are great.

The tents come with the roof but all the other parts are extras you can purchase.

This is a weekly market and I am there every week. I have been doing them for over 5 years now. It's just me running the business. My husband works full time but he does do the occasional thing like a post office run if he's home and I am busy but otherwise I do all the tasks.

@@SoyandShea 😂..think I definitely met my match ..Iam the same way...just need a bit of a breather and then I'm good to go for another round....I always find something I forgot to do or need to do...I always try to prep for the next project....try to be efficient and preventative as possible! You're truly an inspiration for sure..I'll be fortunate once I get going to be having my momma be coming on board with me to help me out....she has lots of connections for ingredients etc..so definitely be a load off my shoulder! She's already got the natural fragrance perfumes formulated!

Your space is just beautiful! I’m so jealous of all your space! I used to have a space one or two days a week in a hotel lobby when I lived in Maui. We were allowed two 6’ tables. The challenge was how to fit as much as possible and still make it look nice.😁 The big Craft Fairs with a full 10’x10’ tent, while a lot more work, was so liberating with all the space. Your space is heaven!💖🥰

@@SoyandShea here in FL the humidity gives the soaps a wet feel so after a few winter outside shows I decided it was a no go. Do you have to wear a mask during your show hours?

@@meadowyck it is why I wrap all my soaps in biodegradable film or there would be no way I could bring them to market. We have no community cases so masks are not mandatory.

Outdoor markets are always nicer. They have a great atmosphere. By fluke, my dad built the shelves so they sit nicely over the folded tables saving space

Loved watching! I always feel that I take so long to set up and I only have 1 tent with 2 tables - that takes me 1 hour sometime more if I’m on the go slow for some reason! Thanks for sharing, it’s fantastic to see Australian videos like this that we can all relate to.

What a nice a nice farmer's market. It is just amazing your huge set up and that you do it single handed. I set up one summer and then have not been able to sell at any markets or bazaars because of the Covid. I do not know what this summer will bring but watching your market makes me hope I can do it again.

Oh my goodness I had little idea what went in to setting up a market stall, you look so organised and to think you do that every week then of course pack it all away at the end of the day you must be exhausted I bet your back let’s you know it’s there too, because I am just watching. Thank you 🧡 yes we are very lucky here currently with no community cases. The markets did shut for a couple of months last year. We do have strict rules in place to allow us to operate

@@SoyandShea That is fantastic! Here in the usa they never put restrictions like they should have. My husband and I put ourselves with restrictions. There are many many cases here. We have lost several loved ones to covid. We refuse to let up. We wear double masks, gloves (I had both for my soaping already) and we don't go around people. If we need to go out and there are people when we get there we just keep going and come back home. Nothing is more important then our lives. Safety is our main goal right now. I still make soap. I tell my husband we will always need good soap. I really enjoy watching others making their soaps and seeing how other country's are managing. . Stay safe, mary

No I haven't been to the states. Although I would love to see some places like Alaska and also visit parts of Canada, I'm sorry to say its not on any of my travel plans. There are too many other places I want to visit in my own country first.

Omg I am exhausted. I did a few weekends at a market in 2019 at xmas. One table and that was brutal. Sales were low so I guess I felt not worth it after paying for table but my goodness your amazing to so all alone. I wld be dragging my husband to set up and tear down. Lol. Your fabulous

Markets are hard and do take time to build a following but once your established, they get easier. Hubby works full time and is often working Sunday so it's just me 😊
