I’m climbing back into the comments section, because there’s something I really want to say. I’ve been watching your videos for so long now, I see your OOTD and think, ‘oh, I have those clothes’(!) But it’s so very much more than just buying a Club Monaco jumpsuit or a Karen Millen shirt. KZbinrs are now called ‘influencers’, I think, and that’s a great word. You have influenced me to take pride in what I wear. You’ve influenced me to quit smoking, and to go to the gym. To value myself enough to buy a great bag and not feel guilty. In other words, you’ve influenced me to claw back a little bit of self-confidence and self-belief. Things which are so very easy to lose along the way. Thank you so much for giving them back to me. Many people watch KZbinrs, I think, to be inspired. But very often, you buy a lipstick thinking it will completely change who you are, but you end up just being you wearing a different lipstick. I struggle to find anyone on KZbin who actually changes how I view myself, but you’ve managed it. You always look so completely wonderful, yet you have the honesty and grace to admit when things don’t always go to plan, and when you don’t feel so sure of yourself. You tell the world it’s okay to have faults and still care about yourself. What a valuable message. I feel inspired by it, and I’m a wee bit older than you (!), so how brilliant it is for young people to see (I only wish I’d had a role model like that when I was a teenager). You once wrote a very moving post about a girl you saw at a petrol station. Now YOU are the girl at the petrol station. For thousands upon thousands of us. I hope that goes some way to balancing out the people who tell you what you should wear and how you should laugh, and whether you should be wearing a coat or not (WTAF?!) At a time when my subs page looks tired and repetitive, you are an absolute joy. I don’t think you’ll ever know how much of an influencer you are xx

Dear Jo, You are honestly so so special to me. Your comments, support and advice leave me feeling so lucky that I have even one person as positive, supportive and kind as you. First of all, I literally found this channel last night, so cool it with the pseudo-dramatic "chamber of adoration" lark. Secondly, if you're gonna insist on being petty on people's videos, don't be disingenuous as to your reasons. Because you and I both know, that bar the music thing (which is still a SUPER petty thing to moan about) non of the other things I mentioned have anything to do with video quality. My boss pays for my lifestyle too, she still doesn't feel the need to comment on everything to do with me that's completely unrelated to my work performance.

My boyfriend makes fun of how much I love your videos/blog/insta stories etc. You are so beautiful, so genuine and your style is just incredible. This is the solace I take from it all. I notice that on videos that get more views, the negativity unfortunately increases. I think it generally comes from the video being more exposed so it does make it easier to swallow. xxx

The thing is there will always be trolls around waiting to say something bad while hiding behind a screen, these people wait on a video most likely never fully watch and comment neg as soon as they can, they have no merit or reason they just feel better living this way. +Jane McGrath I think some people need to get a hobby if they have time to watch someone they're not fond of on KZbin or disagree with their videos or messages they give and then post very nasty comments. A lot of you tubers welcome feedback and ask viewers what they want to see, which is fab! Some viewers are nasty for no reason what so ever and I feel very sorry for them. There's a difference between feedback and being plain nasty, it's bullying and I'll never agree with that.
