Come Together | U-Bass Solo Arrangement!

This is "Come Together," the classic Beatles song arranged for solo U-Bass. This arrangement uses down strums with the right hand index fingernail as well as slaps (occasionally a combination of both at the same time) to create a backbeat that imitates a snare drum on beats 2 and 4. I’m going to keep watching you play it over and over until I can copy you which is not likely. I’ll probably have to resort to the tabs so thanks for them.

I would start with just the intro, then look at the tabs. This part is straight from the original bass line. Once you get into the verse, the tricks are mostly in the right hand: strumming with my index fingernail on beats 2 and 4, occasionally slapping with my thumb instead (in the section with a bunch of open A string notes), etc. I had to practice all of it at a very slow speed to get it cleanly, so try using the 0.5 speed playback setting to see things clearly and to play along.
