When you showed all the different angles of things in the bathroom at Hanbury Hall , I had to smile at the Coty L'Aiment set on a shelf .It was our Mum's favourite and I can still recall the fragrance!! Looked like you had great fun reminiscing in all the rooms and searching for the snowmen. I've got two knitted snowmen sitting within the inner branches of our Xmas tree. Looking forward to the next one and thanks for spending a lot of time to get them done daily - they're so entertaining.😊

This has brought so many lovely memories back for me both my girls were born in the 70’s it’s seems like only yesterday funnily my daughter has just created a 70’s themed Xmas tree to show her daughter how it was when she was a little girl i made the paper chains and bought her some memorable baubles she loved snoopy and peanuts on ski’s a cassette tape and a crocheted Robin all the games reminded me of all the fun we had as a simple Christmas with the family. So a big thank you to you for bringing back so many beautiful memories ❤

I love touring old homes. We have done so many of them in our travels in the USA. One of the best is the Ringling home in Sarasota, Florida. He was the owner of the Ringling Brothers circus. Just lovely.

That brought back memories. As a NZ héritage member I found out that I could use my card to visit the English heritage sites. They were all awesome and fascinating. UK is lucky to have such fabulous places to visit. And I envy that there are all the canal ways and walking paths that you can access. We have parks and the DOC conservation areas. But it looks like thanks to the national party we'll soon be having to pay to visit them.😢. And even more to camp on site! Impossible for anyone on limited income! Fingers crossed this doesn't happen but it's not looking good.

Brilliant vlogmas again. Loved the visit to Hanbury Hall, and the amazing displays from the 70's and 80's. There was so much there that brought back memories of the tech of the day, and the things that were an important part of the times. How brilliant was the foodstuffs laid out as if a party had just moved away into another room! I'm glad to hear how much you loved that period. Nothing wrong with old hearts!! See you tomorrow. Xx

I DO LOVE your Vlogmases, but why am I so confused that you are editing yesterday’s vlog today??🤣 AND THEN - you take me to “an old house” and show me “old things” that are from my childhood! 👀😳😬🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Next you’re going to tell me that all the toys I played with when I was little are now in a museum. OH WAIT, they are! In the Toy and Miniature Museum here in Kansas City!

Until my first son was born in 82, i spent every xmas surrounded by grey walls of whichever Warship i was on, it was a custom that those without children let those with go on leave for Christmas, this vlog bought back many happy memories for me, including the HMRC man on arrival back from Hong Kong looking at the Game Boy i had and saying ' it'll never catch on ', most Navy Kids had them long before they were available here, perk of the job i suppose. Another excellent vlog keep up the good work....

Thank you for the trip down memory lane. So neat that things in the 70/80’s in England looked similar to what we had in US . Being born in 1958 it’s still strange to hear someone refer to the 80’s as way back in the day. The toilet paper roll cozy brought back memories, my grandmother used to make them.
