About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

WOW the floors are amazing, that sander on the stairs is a beast, quite the workout. All those sanders are amazing tools and bringing back 200 year old woods! I feel like we honor trees and the craftsman when we restore antique wood.

The funny thing is that while I enjoy watching the show, I actually end up learning a ton about restoration and skilled jobs. Never thought about the filling part of the parquet floors or the scraping of old treasures out of joins in the pine. And your right, those stairs are going to take a lot of work to bring back but won't they be beautiful?

It is amazing to see the floors come to life. Brad explaining the steps and showing you, Ash how to sand the stairs was very interesting. Brad is a true artisan and master of his craft. Brad's amazing floor restoration with beautiful finishes is such a skill and Ash the oak stairs will look incredible when finished. The colour of the blue bedroom is stunning, I could sit in there all day long. Great seeing Terry bring the chandelier back to life. The transformation of this whole chateau is unbelievable, you would not think it is the same building. I love Tracy's home too, I would be very happy living there... How they screed the floor is so interesting. So they keep the sawdust for the different floors separate then go back and sand. This is great, to keep the floor color cohesive and get a wonderful finish. I have been watching his channel.

I've been watching since the beginning ...but please can you do more long wide panned out shots of the rooms so we can see the entire room slowly from floor to ceiling...so many times you show portions of the room but it's great to see the entire room panned out, looking in to the room and looking out of the room to get the full experience ..I can't wait to see the final results!
