1 Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home; all is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin. God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied; come to God's own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home. 2 All the world is God's own field, fruit as praise to God we yield; wheat and tares together sown are to joy or sorrow grown; first the blade and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear; Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be. 3 For the Lord our God shall come, and shall take the harvest home; from the field shall in that day all offenses purge away, giving angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast; but the fruitful ears to store in the garner evermore. 4 Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring thy final harvest home; gather thou thy people in, free from sorrow, free from sin, there, forever purified, in thy presence to abide; come, with all thine angels, come, raise the glorious harvest home.

The greatest choir in the world, singing the best Thanksgiving song ever written! We used to sing this in elementary school! We had music class once a month with a roving music teacher. I used to belt this one out! I have always played the piano and sung, but these 326 people are a gift from God. The orchestra is a wonderfully talented ensemble in their own right. If I lived in Salt Lake City, I would be LDS just because of the beautiful music. Happy Thanksgiving! God be with you till we meet again.

Thumbs up if you're a grown man (or woman) listening to this at Thanksgiving 2018 and the tears stream down your face. For me, this hymn invokes the mystery of this holiday like no other, much as God of Our Fathers might around July 4, or Christ the Lord is Risen Today at Easter, when we raise our harvest and our voices to Almighty God and give thanks for all He has given us. I am Presbyterian, and no Latter-Day Saint, but bless you, TC, for this meaningful musical offering.

I, too, am Presbyterian and cherish this hymn! Grateful for this recording when I am far from family this year because of health issues. This hymn lifts heart, mind and soul into the Heavens in gratitude to our God!
