Even months ago Shannon did mention on her instagram stories that if you are a foreigner you will be treated differently, you will get the big opportunities first then after that you will slowly get nothing, until you don't get paid at all. Another example Amber Liu is doing her own thing at the moment and she is more happy than 2 years ago.

AFAIK, release of this album is caused by not being able to promote "Love Don't Hurt" on KBS/MBC/SBS. The actual MV will release in a day because it was shot like 4 days ago. I would say they reacted fairly quick this time to catch the KPOPStar hype train. She did start a VLive channel a bit less than a month ago and tell viewers about the new album. Other than that, i don't see any other promotions from MBK.

True to some extent. These microphones are expensive and capture the voice better than the normal "band aid" mics that are taped to artists' cheeks. Companies buy their artists these nice mics out of their own pocket while the band aid mics are provided by the broadcasting company of music shows.
