Calling other people pathetic makes you seem kinda pathetic ngl
@Black_Goreinu2 жыл бұрын
@@kire3324 It was kind of a dumb comment anyway. Tony is not offended by the joke as much as he is in grief over his wife's death. If I remember correctly, he didn't even want to attend the show. He does ruin the mood by telling his story, and you could say he got offended at the comedian calling him out for not finding the joke funny - basically asking him ''you don't find suicide jokes funny?'', but not the joke itself. If you think Tony is offended at the joke and not just generally depressed and fed up with people, you probably didn't watch After Life or just don't get it. Also, Ricky Gervais has no problem with this sort of joke or even worse in his actual stand up. The whole point of this scene is to showcase how a depressed suicidal individual sees everything in their life polluted by these suicidal and negative feelings. To generalize and call a bunch of people pathetic is SUPER PATHETIC.
@Kali-bs7oj Жыл бұрын
He didn’t get offended though. He just didn’t react to the joke.
