Everyone forgets that Persia was the world's first superpower and for 2,500 years. (For context, the european race have only been superpowers for 400 years and look at how much they've done). The upper class of these persian countries like Afghanistan and Iran were already in California since 1897. Just think of the Kardashians and that's how we act. Arrogant, stuck up, and dumb meaningless business as usual. The others who were not so lucky or wealthy and remained in Afghanistan... and they're the most humble people on the planet. We have fallen so far and we have learned the hard lesson that we are all one people on this planet. Sadly, Taliban, and Isis, and AL Quaeda are people who went the other way. They're people who, in these dark times, turned deeeeeeeply and extremely religious. There is no such thing as shotgun weddings in those countries, if a woman had sex without marriage, she's 100% as good as dead.

Notice the difference between Afghanistani Persians and Iranian Persians. On an Iranian wedding the only ones you would see with hijab were the old women and the one aunt you have that never married. Never the less, I wish them the best. ❤
