They're not allowed to endorse a candidate, so they shouldn't be able to endorse a party either, but I'm not sure if they can. Churches can still discriminate based on race, so certainly they can based on party

The priest is poisoning the woman with dirty water and taking her miscarriage (or lack thereof) as a proof of her guilt or innocence. The woman, being poisoned, would die as well if guilty. (Mishnah sotah 3:4) Sounds more like torture followed by execution.
