When I was 11 my 14 yr old step uncle came to visit. We walked downtown into the stores all prepared for Christmas. It was crowded and the aisles were narrow. My teenage uncle picked up a heavy box of Christmas cards, stopped me and said, "watch this"..... and dropped it into the basket a woman shopper had on her arm. Now this was up north so at holiday time it was cold and everyone was bundled up in heavy clothes and coats. The poor woman never knew it happened. Being a child of 11, never seeing or even imagining something like this, there was no way I could hold it in. I got 4 steps away and busted out laughing. Don't know if she actually paid for the cards at checkout but I'll never forget that moment in that woman's life when she was just buying gifts for everyone but herself and got blindsided by a couple little boys. At least the cards could have been used, if not that year, the next. May have been the first time in my life I LOL'd in public.
