The other two were very dry/deadpan, which is fine, but it felt jarring jumping between their answers and James's. You could tell it affected Taylor too. The show feels less jarring when the contestants have similar comedic styles and can build on each other's humor and energy.

I thought Robby and Max we’re absolutely hysterical bouncing off Taylor. James had a few funny responses, one being his Jesus response to walking on water here, but overall his responses felt very “safe” in comparison to Robby and Max who kept pushing boundaries in all the right ways.

Stand-up comics & those actors with improv chops are really the only way to go with this type of show.
