Plenty of cnuts voted to remain. You can be sure of that. And moreover, these days, in the very real post Brexit world, continuing to bang on and on about the referendum, getting on for a decade later, makes people look bitter, out of touch and politically naive. BTW - I voted to remain. Residual, fundamentalist remainers are increasingly looking like the nutters, not the normal, non-racist, non rightwing, non jingoistic, working class people who voted to leave the EU that they so love to hate, in such a childishly binary, 'goodies and baddie', cartoon kind of way. smh Britain is no longer part of the EU. @@gnrseanra9070 Eurozone inflation 5.3% 07.23 UK inflation 7.9% (House of Commons Library). Eurozone GDP growth +0.6% Q2 ‘23 and +1.1% Q1 ‘23 YoY. (Eurostat) UK GDP growth +0.3% Q1 ‘23 after a decrease of 0.5% Q4 ‘22. Yes Germany is in technical recession, but neither the EU or the Eurozone are, as you claim. One of the advantages of the the EU is that it is a huge collection of individual economies, so, while one might go into temporary recession, the rest of the zone is still in strong growth. If the UK goes into the recession (and the tories are pulling out the stops to make sure that happens), we only have ourselves for support. Please, leave your delusions of brexit’s success in the bin, stop thinking that just because some mendacious tory twat says something, that makes it true, and stop conflating statistics to try to make a point.😈

@@gnrseanra9070 From where I'm sitting, it seems just fine. At least compared to my homeland - the UK. The only thing that seems to be happening in England is high streets closing and bookies, Poundlands and pawn shops opening. A really disturbing thing though is that I'm really starting to notice how down at heel and unhealthy so many people are as soon as I land in Heathrow / Gatwick / Manchester. I live in Luxembourg, I have France, Germany and Belgium within a 20 minute drive in any direction, my wife is Portuguese and we spend about a third of the year at our appartment in central Lisbon. The English abroad are becoming increasingly easy to spot. They are starting to actually look poorer than the rest of us. Apparently Poland will overtake the UK in PPP and living standards in a couple of years, and I can believe it. Passed through Warsaw Chopin airport on my way to Cancun a few weeks ago, and it has an upbeat and optimistic air that I've not sensed in the UK for ages - and don't forget they've got a major war just across the border and they've taken millions of refugees. It's really depressing to watch the fall of my country from afar.

That was my favourite too. Because I thought of that when I had a chat with a near hysterical and worried Polish girl I knew shortly after the vote. She really thought she would have to go into hiding and there would be squads rounding up people like her. I know that would be Farage's wet dream, but it was never going to happen under a Tory government at that time. Not so sure of that now... She left the UK, sick of the racism, and is now a radiographer in Copenhagen. Good luck to her. Our loss is Denmarks gain.

Brexiters like slogans. Here's a good one - The brexit paradox is that any govt capable of delivering brexit wouldn't.
@michaelmouse4024
@michaelmouse4024 Жыл бұрын
@@snarkybuttcrack Indeed. The word 'deliver' is a reference to the vacuous quasi management-speak that pollutes the language anyway but is a regular cliché from inept tory politicians. Brexit was/is merely a flawed policy. However, it was presented as a sacrosanct, ready-formed entity, organic, spontaneous & as natural as the weather: this pattern is jealousy guarded by brexit supporters despite the details of its demise or even the simple fluctuations of events. They are blind to the facts, deaf to criticism & furious with critics - the bbc are scared to even appear to criticise brexit. Brexit is toxic & it was always a mirage: it was born of arrogance, nostalgia, hyperbole & delusion & in the main motivated by a free market neo liberal capitalism veiled in the flabby conceit of 'English exceptionalism'. @@Conservator. Not possible, censorship in operation. But if you are talking to him, I’d be grateful if you’d point out to him, that the reason Mick Lynch and the RMT support Brexit, apart from the traditional, working class left dislike of the EEC/EU, is the EU 4th Railway package. He’s done several videos about the RMT’s position on Brexit, and never once mentioned the EU 4th railway package. Which is as they say, a bit like Hamlet without the prince. The fact that he’s not from, or ever lived in, the U.K, probably explains why he seems unaware that there has always been a substantial section of the British left, opposed to membership of what they see as the neoliberal EEC/EU. Thank you.

Another thing is that the EU has not got anything to do with the problems of UK it this UK ppl. own choices and this they must take responsibility for it .. Also the UKs problems was not the making of the EU the UK can only blame itself the UK imported a massive muslim populations in the millions from Pakistanis over the years and other muslims back in the late 60 , 70 and 80s . and those f--- had 4 to 8 children ... This 1st generation of British Muslims when they became old enough to get married, started imported post order husbands and wives , from muslim nations, and those 1st generation of British Muslims also had 4 to 8 children themselves and the same was repeated by the 2nd generation of British Muslims NOW YOU GOT A PROBLEM AND YOU BLAMED THIS ON THE EU THAT IT WAS MASSIVE IMMIGRATION FROM FRANCE .. The question her is what has this really got to do with the EU ???? DID THE EU FORCE THE UK to import muslims back in the day ???? NO it did not !! So this dose NOT have very much, really to do with the EU does it !! (but it is convenient to blame the EU right) ..?? This has to do more with The Labour Party in Briton and their socialist marxist agenda of importing from muslim nations to get more voters for The labour Party .. And before anyone say we needed to take back control of our borders form EU control .. Let me say this WTF are you talking about ?? The UK. had before and has always had full control over its borders and still has control of their borders before Brexit and after Brexit and THEY STILL DO NOW !!!! The UK was never part of Schengen zone and Frontex !!! NEVER SO THE UK HAD FULL CONTROL OF THIER OWN BORDERS !!!! if UK was never part of the Schengen zone or Frontex (The European Border and Coast Guard Agency, also known as Frontex) the UK had full control and still dose have full control and sovereignty of its own borders how was it ever the EUs fault that Briton has all this mass immigration ?? .. SO ANY MUSLIM THAT has got into the UK. is down to The Home Office, The UK Border Agency (UKBA) and the UK Border Force and Immigration Enforcement office .. in short down to the f.. UK government in London not down the EU in Brussels !!.... The only thing that UK had that was different when part of the EU was that you got some Polish workers and EU citizens coming and going (just like British came to EU and want to EU go to EU ) But what has that got to do with Muslim ILGIAL immigration?? Lets be honest here ; Was and other EU citizens and the Polish real such a big problem for British NHS ? (lets not forget about all those British ex pats that are in Spain and other EU nations using the heath care system in those countries ) Ask yourself is it the EU citizens and the Polish that are running around the streets with grooming gangs, raping killing and committing crimes and inforcing no go zones in the UK. or is it muslims from Asia ; Africa and middle east ??? I think we all know very well that it is NOT the EU citizens and the Polish ... So did the majority of those Muslins that now are running around creating mayhem and violence and Rap in the streets all over the UK, come to the UK in the last 10 years or so and because the UK was in the EU or was it because the UK imported massive muslim populations for cheep work forces back in the late 60 , 70 and 80s...

Have you ever think about the intention behind Brexit? Cui bono? Brexit as worked exactly as intended. England can now maintain is tax havens for the rich. That was the only political intention behind leaving the rules of the common market. The scrap of EU rules is to guarantee a no easy return path. The day the EU proposed ending tax havens the English politicians started talking about leaving the EU. Time Line: 2013 David Cameron asks the EU not to include UK offshore trusts in the EU wide crackdown on tax avoidance , the EU says “NO”. 2014 October Arron Banks donates £1 million to UKIP. 2015 October Vote Leave “let's take back control” formed. 2016 February David Cameron announces a referendum to leave the EU. 2019 EU anti-tax avoidance proposals published. 2019 EU anti-tax avoidance laws accepted by the EU. 2020 31 January 23:00 GMT UK leaves the EU. 2020 01 February EU parliament makes ATAD (anti-tax avoidance directive) EU law, which members have to introduce to national law. Brexit is complete, the single item on the agenda as been attained. The rich that payed for the politicians bus have their sovereignty now. www.dixcart.com/moving-to-guernsey-the-benefits-and-tax-efficiencies/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_Dependencies www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/anti-tax-avoidance-package/ taxation-customs.ec.europa.eu/anti-tax-avoidance-directive_en UK legislation instead: www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2010/8/section/21 www.gov.uk/government/publications/controlled-foreign-companies-and-eu-anti-tax-avoidance-directive/controlled-foreign-companies-and-eu-anti-tax-avoidance-directive www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2010/8/contents

I am in management, I worked for an international company, managing teams from France, Canada, Brits, India, Mexico, Australia. And of all those teams, the Brits were the most insufferable. That have this weird high brow stubborness about them, even when it is to their detriment. And the Brits leadership were oddly enogh exactly like these jokes. Honestly, of all the countries that I did worked and managed teams, the Brits will forever be the worst for me and I would not take on a job that requires me to deal with them. Only enough, my German and French teams both got along with each other fine, but they can't stand thr Brits lol😅

So you can't claim the British government for anything here, as it wasn't working before and is not working now --- but by the times the UK was member the EU tried to fill the missing parts. --- So Rishi really had to make up for his lack of an English name and the strategy was - ruining everything when you get into office and then making a call to Brussels from time to time -- of course the situation will improve over time like that. Even better that his predecessors did most of the ruining and then even were so kind to dump themselves.
