So I saw Dave Chappelle at First Ave in Minneapolis the summer after Prince passed. He did a residency there for a week straight, and I saw him on the last day of it. At the end of his set, he just talked about his friendship with Prince. He said they tried to get Prince in the sketch, and even though that didn't work out, Prince loved it in the end. According to Dave, Prince said, "It wasn't how good I was, but how bad Charlie was."

Pat Tanackered Yes, I’ve heard the same things. There’s even been interviews with his old teachers & coaches from high school. They all said that he would always stay after school either in the music room, or in the gym playing basketball. He even had a custom basketball court built in his house. I think he made the right choice in pursuing music over basketball, though. Lol
