One of his recording engineers who is now also has a degree in psychiatry, explained why he had so many talents. She said he was a hypercreative. His mind would focus and be obsessed in so many different areas that once he latched on to something- he had to explore it absolutely as far as he could go with it. Be it sports, poetry, musical instruments, making and recording music. Practicing for live performances. Most people couldnt keep up. But those who did- it elevated their own level of performance.

Where did Prince find the time to master soo many different skill sets. I love hearing stories like this.
@theejaydoubleyew8 ай бұрын
He didn't have to "find time to master so many different skill sets." He was gifted and the skills were God-given, so all he had to do was accept and use the gifts no matter what, which he did. Gender fluid and as different as he was in many ways -- he didn't GAF, he did what he wanted and used his gifts.
@davruck18 ай бұрын

I have followed his career since 1979 I was 17 years old and I followed him up until he passed away and even after they call people artist they throw that word around too easily the only artist of music that I think truly existed was Whitney Houston Michael Jackson and Prince and Prince played all the instruments wrote his music choreographed & sang hitting vocals like nobody else his stuff I would say he is the grand architect of music and always will be they’ll never be another time between the 80s in the 90s when music used to make a move and feel something inside music after 2000 just breaks your heart when these folks died music died they just got these people today they just copy everything from the past and take credit for it they were the true creators of music you felt something for these people they came from hardship Poor families and they made something of themselves in a time where people of color forget it you got nowhere and I think that’s why we related to them so much somewhere over the rainbow Rest in peace Prince Rogers Nelson🕊
