That Peep bloke buried his cheese just to add
@pixiniarts8 жыл бұрын
It was Parmesan, so really, really fucking expensive cheese... I mean Italian cheese makers use that shit as collateral on loans, there are bank vaults full of cheese in Italy worth hundreds of millions. He buried wine with ze cheese because the motherfucker liked to party, and no party is complete without nibbles and wine... The tragedy was that the first pineapple rocked up in Blighty in around 1670 so a few years after the great fire, Pepys lived until 1703 but the first toothpick-manufacturing machine was developed in 1869... Toothypicks in the 17th century were fucking expensive and not cheap enough to toss in the garden for the cat to choke on. So he got to see pineapple and cheese but never saw them together on a lil' wood stick... Which is rather fucking sad.
