​@@TelecasterfanI would disagree, very good standup but the crowd isn't into it. Maybe he didn't do any crowd work and just went into his set. Id almost say it's kind of racist to bring up his accent cause I barely noticed it..

​@@issholland no dude. It's not his accent. It's his affectation. It's a hammed up voice for his punchlines. While I liked a lot of the premises, the overall set wasn't very funny (to me, of course) and his delivery wasn't very good. You can blame the crowd and call me racist if you feel like that explains everything for you, but he simply wasn't very good in this video. Maybe he's gotten better though. Example -- 0:40 "regular sized bird". That's not the way the guy talks. I promise you he doesn't talk like that when he's not on stage. That's his "look at me while I say something that you are supposed to laugh at" voice. I hear a similar affectation from other comedians on KZbin pretty often.

We had tickets to see him in Jacksonville like a month ago but the show got canceled for some reason. Definitely a tough crowd though. But I've heard some of these jokes/premises in his newer stuff much more ironed out and this video is 5+ years old I believe.

Tough crowd. I thought the material was good enough to connect with the audience, but it didn't work out. Video dated it in 2015 though, maybe he needed to work on this set a bit more to iron things out.
