Most of our steam locomotives live on small heritage railways around the country. They occasionally visit the main line, but very rarely. A Steam Special is a very rare occurrence!!

The USA S160 was a most exciting locomotive to clear up the carriages behind!! The smoke was thick and heavy and the sounds were just like those in this video.

One of my last jobs was to be Train Janitor behind the S160 locomotive that visited the Epping Ongar railway a few years ago. It was a wonderful experience!!

We never had an event called Steamrail, but we’re in England and have very few steam locomotives on the standard railway/railroad!!

Over here in England, heritage railways are limited to a maximum speed of 25 mph!! I used to be a porter on the Epping Ongar Railway in Essex.

Hudson River is Canada, isn’t it? No wonder the scenery is so beautiful in such a rugged sort of way!!
@Comeng9984 күн бұрын
@@Madonsteamrailways the Hudson name in the title refers to the wheel arrangement of the locomotives. Hudson is the name given to steam locomotives with a 4-6-4 wheel arrangement.
