Oven Beef Stew
2 pounds beef stew meats (pieces)
4 potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks
2 onions, quartered
8 carrots, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks
2 cans tomato soup
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 can of peas, drained
Mix together all four cans of soup (undiluted) in a Dutch Oven. Add beef, potatoes, onions, and carrots. Stir gently. Cover and bake in a slow oven at 250 degrees for 6 hours. The two kinds of soup will blend and make a delicious gravy. Stir in the can of peas just before serving.
