After running some AR45 pumps. I'd recommend a 1 inch proportioning valve , on your SH in order to get a 50/50 SH/water mixture along with 1inch hose feeding the pump in order maintain the full flow capacity of the diaphragm pump.

Fantastic video...can I ask a question, as these machines throw a lot of water, does it come with a lever/knob that you can move, that you can regulate the pressure flow, from a trickle to full flow?
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
There is an unloader knob that reduces pressure. You can always turn it down but the flow will be there. This situation you can use different nozzle tips such as a fan pattern for a more controlled application.

I have the P40 on order and greatly appreciate your video. Very helpful in better understanding how this gets connected. How many gallons of water do you go thru when washing an average 2500 soft house?
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
I honestly wouldn't know how many gallons of water I'd go through. There are too many variables as far as dirtiness, etc. Another thing is I hook up to the customers water to fill my tank while using it.

Looks good but get rid of that pentair valve. They all Crack down the seams and very hard to find when you have a air leak...
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the concern but that pentair valve was a year old and never had an issue. I do have an updated video however where I did update everything to 1". The reason they Crack is usually being installed too tightly and not using the right stuff to seal it.

if you kept the hose 3/4" on your reel (just like on the output port of the P40) for the P40 wouldn't you get better flow (gpm) than going to a 1/2" hose?
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
You don't need 3/4" hose. The manifold on the reel is only 1/2". It flows plenty with 1/2" hose. All you'll be doing is adding a lot of weight you'll get tired of pulling around.

all my parts you listed just arrived. Question for you. Can i hook the 1” water line to the top of my tank instead of using the 1” bulkhead coming out of bottom of tank. i dont need the extra line to go to my pressure washer
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. If your plan is to use a drop line into the tank from the top, it shouldn't be a problem. This is how my SH line pulls chemical.

do you keep the ball valve wide open or close it some? what if i only want 2% mix how do i meter that with the water flow
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
Because the metering valve I currently have is 1/2", if I have it wide open it will give me approx a 3% mix. This is because my water is 1". If you want a stronger mix then I would pinch my water halfway with the ball valve and leave the bleach wide open.

@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
I usually don't allow it to bypass longer than a few minutes. Having a long bypass hose is what allows it to bypass without overheating. It's a mental counter in my head.

Great Video Are you Able to Pull a 6% mix or are you limited to 5%
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
You can get an easier 6% mix running a bigger mixing valve. I'm only running a 1/2" valve because I already had it upgrading from my 12v system. I just pinch off the water halfway using the ball valve.

I don’t really see the point of the bypass, as it has to be manually turned to bypass? Whereas my pressure washer bypasses as soon as I’m off the trigger...
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
This system bypasses off the trigger like a pressure washer as well. The difference between this and a pressure washer is that it doesn't bypass back to the tank to continually keep the pump cool. It can only be in bypass mode for up to 10 min before the pump overheats.

@@readykleenpowerwashing I’ve just bought the p40 here in the U.K., not many have it. What do I need to have the bypass valve set to? As when I come off the trigger, there is still pressure on the Lance?

@12988Jake 3 жыл бұрын
@@readykleenpowerwashing so basically when the bypass is open, it returns to tank, but when it’s closed, all the pressure remains in the pump and hose? I don’t understand what the point is? I’m not noticing any bypass when I’m off the trigger...
@readykleenpowerwashing
@readykleenpowerwashing 3 жыл бұрын
@@12988Jake bypass is automatic. The unloader automatically puts the system in bypass when a specific pressure is reached. Just like a commercial pressure washer that has a bypass hose running back to a buffer tank.
