I both love and hate how much of these short little animations are showing up nowadays. I mean I love everything about them but damn I could watch a whole series with some of the plots they’ve made.

For sure! I’m starting a channel called @/theindiecompany where i’m going to try to highlight some of the smaller inide animators by dubbing re-dubbing Or just in general, providing voice acting for these projects because so many Have crazy potential ESPECIALLY the indie anime I see

I dont think every animation needs a series though. To tell a full story in a short amount of time is a testament to the storyteller's skill.

@@BubbleGumIsCute I get this, growing up watching things like the twilight zone or Alfred Hitchcock presents…..you get this weird love for odd,open or even unsatisfying endings There’s a good way to do it and leave the watcher feeling those emotions in a good way and I feel the animator did a great job with that 🫶🏾

Who and where were they? How did they get there? How were they able to get one of them out? What happened to the other one? Where did they go after getting out? How can the other one get out too? Why was the other one fine about being left alone there possibly to be left to die or live for eternity? There's too many questions I want to see MORE The creator seems to have only made it for an assignment, so it's probably never going to be continued. The creator doesn't even make animations like this either; they make animations of inanimate objects. I might just try to continue the story myself, but I don't know if I should since I don't have any experience in making stories, and I might just reduce the emotional impact of the story. The soft piano, the brush change when one of them had to leave the other, possibly never seeing them again, the moment where he said "I promise" to him as the video goes black and the piano stops, and the background audio used just makes it so much sadder, and it made me so anxious. I don't even know why my heart starts to get heavy this fast at things like this. I guess sacrifice and hope hit me hard. I wish that the two characters could meet again. The way they talked to each other sounded like they had a strong bond. This might be another reason for this being so heavy for me. This broke me.
