I didn't know you could get a rested buff by just sitting near a fire outside without a shelter. The meters showing how far each fire source went was also useful. Very informative 💯
@juice6199 Жыл бұрын
Just bought the game, beat the first boss and was working on getting bronze gear when I had to look this up because I noticed that sitting by the charcoal kiln gave me comfort 1 and rested, but not comfort level 4 like sitting inside by my fire. I was like "wait what's the difference between comfort 1 and comfort 4?" And now I'm here.
@aarepelaa1142 Жыл бұрын
@@juice6199 you can literally just look at the stats of the rested buff by just looking at the info birb menu in the inventory.

@@juice6199 had it randomly recommended. And something i didn't know is the max comfort lvl. Though it's not too useful as on travels you're usually going to need to resort to campfires unless you want to use a teleporter home.

I ran into a small issue with AFK the other day. Thought I would be AFK for a few min. Turns out it was like 3 hours. Came back to find The Ground Was Shaking at some point, in fact it shook so hard the Trolls broke through my fencing and house. Killed me beside the bed. crushed the bed too. I lost my spawn point and began spawning at the circle. Not to good of a choice as the local mobs killed me in my skivvies. In total about 15 times. The worst part was I lost my Maypole and can't rebuild it. It seems that the Esc button did not pause my game like I thought it did. Nice video thanks for the information.

This was great! I played a lot with rested stuff and got max (without seasonal/maypole) in an early save last year. It was in my house I built for myself, but my bestie that plays with me would always come over to my house to get my maxed rested buff. But now with this I know distances have ideas on how to increase it and decorate better! Thank you!

One item not mentioned that can give the fire effect is the forge. The trick is you have to use it and have the forge light up. You can either press E on it or imagine that you are going to build something metal :) Its a helpful trick if you have run out of wood in base but want to rest
