@@eliotjohnston8238 Super kind of you to say, I really just love making them 😊 And I don’t have a patreon atm - it’s definitely something I want to look into in the future, but I want to wait until I can commit more time to the channel. @@Embr oh god, the good old PhD end panic.. (I finished mine 3,5 years ago). Weird (unsolicited, sorry) writing tip: when you're writing your introduction and discussion etc DON'T try to work 8 hours a day. Find your *best* 3 hours in the day and do solid meaty writing work then, don't bother about references too much "so and so said something about this" that's it. Take a long break (at least one hour, maybe 2) and do like 1 hour of clean up and the admin part (references etc) of writing. And that's it. I found that in pure academic writing the "doing nothing" is an important part of the writing schedule. Take a break and do stuff that is not too mentally draining or like writing, take a walk, play a nice game etc. This was BY FAR my most productive writing schedule for the final bit. Stole it from a friend of mine. Good luck! Also I love your videos, this one was a gem!

It is very reassuring to see that everyone's playthrough in the Mistlands is basically the same. Lots of jumping, death and dwarves. I also certain the game knows when you're on the way back home and decides to spawn something 1 or 2 star to interrupt. Great video Embr!

The best new gear item i got from this biome is the feather cape. It's game changing, i love it. In my opinion it's the first item people should seek to achieve when first starting the new mist biome. It's not easy to get though, you will need to find a dungeon for the black cores.

Nice video, was cool to watch your adventures. Just a quick tip for people when dealing with the infected mines. You can kite any mobs back to the entrance where if you stand on the step before the mine they are not able to climb up and attack you, unless there are many of them which can cause one to climb up over his mate. But most times you can safely stand a bit away from the last step and shoot arrows until they are toast. You can clear the whole mine safely doing it this way if you find yourself struggling.

New content! 👍I'm on my first playthrough and only just barely ventured into a bit of Mistlands. There are spoilers in here and normally I'd have shut this off. But you don't put out content very often and I love your videos, so I watched anyway. I make videos too. And though I keep telling myself I'm going to put out one a week, the average video takes me about a month to make. I know how it is. Keep 'em coming when you can. I always look forward to a new one.

Your first Gjall experience was like mine LOL! I was such a coward I ran back to a nearby dwarven tower. The Gjall did such a number to the dwarves that it destroyed the component crate for me. Apparently the roof is weak! So I accidentally myself into dwarven materials early on in my Mistlands run as a reward for my cowardice.

I'm more of a let's see someone else go there first to know what to expect kind a guy. so thanks for posting this, very well put together video. That sky brain thing looks absolutely terrifying, I can't wait to be unalived over and over again by one. pssst. I'm not very good at the game. don't tell anyone, just between you and me ;-) I started a new world and brought over some good starter gear, nothing much, dark iron tools and some kind of padded armor and wolf cloak. Relearning how to craft everything, and what all the new items n stuff are is a bit like playing a brand new game.
