Any other Pink Floyd you all would like to see on this channel? Of course I'll teach "Wish You Were Here" at some point... it's one of the must-knows. Anything else?

Thankyou! I absolutely love this style of tute, especially the way the chords/strumming scrolls across the screen at the top. I'm dummy beginner but this gives me confidence to have a go at what I previously thought was too hard! Legend!

Oh I can't wait! I have my tape delay and some fuzz pedals all ready to go. I just want to get a marshall or similar high wattage amp first, so I can do the tone justice.

Any tips for me, who is on the verge of giving my guitar away and quitting because after 3 months of daily practice sessions, I STILL cannot play an A chord? (My 3 fingers just will not fit on that fret, no matter how I try) Very close to just quitting now. (it took me almost a month to 'get' D, but I just about managed it, A is impossible)
@atuks2608
@atuks2608 3 жыл бұрын
I have the same problem, you can try and play the A chord by pressing those strings with your index finger, keep in mind you will need to arch it a bit in order not to hit the high E string. Whatever you do not quit buddy, it will get better!

A is tricky for a lot of people. I was in the studio, recording a Christmas song (in July!) and I was really breaking a sweat trying to get every one of them to ring perfectly! I talked about it with the producer (who is an amazing guitarist himself, John Anderson) and he told me that he's listened to so many buzzing A chords in his 20+ years as a producer and it's probably the most "scuffed" chord of the basic open shapes. I would recommend trying to learn a few 3-chord songs that don't involve A (there's a playlist on my channel page with 2-and-3 chord wonders) like G, C, D, etc. Then come back to it. Sometimes it takes a bit of time apart.

Really easy, but I've been playing awhile since I was 12 years old. I started on a 1963 Gibson Les Paul junior. That made it 9 years old. I do remember that day like it was last week Thursday of last week. My brother in law played guitar and find it in the Wheeler Dealer. Him and my sister went and he play it because I was to shy, but in two years I was playing in a band. There was two brothers lived up the street. After playing two years on the guitar. Our bass player and singer both dip out before a big party. I started playing bass and Jer the older brother started singing. I was 15 then and tried out a lot of singing. Here's a link on us winning the battle of the bands in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1990. Before KZbin or Facebook or for that matter any cell phones or WiFi wasn't out yet, but here's us 3 young mid-west boys. Playing everynight and writing one new song once a month. It's to long,so go to 29mins and 36seconds. To see and hear us playing live. We was all young Thank you and please let me know what you think about us 20 years and 8 day ago. No joke! I do teach zoom bass lessons and guitar lessons. Story for enough place and time. Aloha sister kzbin.info/www/bejne/eanRiH1uos-sp6s
