Wet and rainy overnight in hot tent again

Walk in the wet and rainy forest to find a camping spot.
Set up tent while raining a bit and then fix the foldable titanium stove.
Gather firewood and split some of it.
Dries up inside the tent and then makes freeze-dried food.
And just sit and listen to the rain on the tent.
Then i go out for a walk and drink a beer on a opening in the forest.
Back to the camp when it starts to get dark.
In the middle of the night i light a campfire and stand and drink another beer by it.
Really nice...it has stop raining.
Then i go to sleep
When i wake the next morning i eat some sandwiches and listen on the rain.
Later i pack up the camp and go back to the car.

Some dead standing. And i hade a couple of dry firewiid from home for the large fire, to get a nice fire for a shirt while. Lot of stuff in my huge pack pack 🙂.

Thanks 🙂 When the stove is burning it gets dry and nice in the tent. It is pretty damp when you wake in the morning but the stove make quick work of the damp.

So one Thing i am always Curious About when i see these "Portable Stoves" and its "Pipe" inside of Tents is.... Why didnt melt the Tarp/Tent what so ever, at the Point, the Pipe leaves it? It has to go out somewhere, to achieve that it has to go through the Tarp/Tentwall what so ever.... The Pipe should Heat up easylie a few 100C° if you Fire the stove all the time? I mean it even gets Hot Red at the Bottom which speaks for several hundred at least itself.... to the TOp ofc the Rain and such aswell cools it a bit.... but is that really enought? These 1m Distance to the Direct Fire?

I have a welding blanket where the pipe going through the tent so it never touch the tent fabric. And you only need about 40cm from the stove to the tent wall. But you need to be careful ...
