And the 1st time Bamon "kissed" Bonnie actually KISSED HIM he didn't respond. The second time they did kiss, but I never felt any "love" there. It's not like when he kisses Elena. Like I said he cares for her, but that's about it. But I understand how you Bamon shippers can believe it's sth more. It is kinda confusing.

I personally didn't see the Damon/Bonnie relationship in the books the same way everyone else did. I saw it more as Damon just being very protective of her because she always appeared so weak compared to the other girls. I saw it more as a brother/sister protective relationship (of course with Damon being slightly interested in her bra cup size, but that's just who he is) Whereas with Elena he was so deeply in love with her. I'd feel uncomfortable watching Bamon on the show, but just my opinion

You do know majority of the fanbase do not even ventured into the actual fandom, internet fandom actually only makes up 30% of the fanbase. I actually ratings nut and so I know the network was concerned about AI and actually considered moving the show's timeslot, and the AI finale was actually the weeks later so that not true to why the finale was so low.

I love bamon's chemistry. I am not a delena fan but I respect that they love delena without harassing them. I think people shipping different couple is what makes the show so fun.(: @Henrita6- L.J smith tells fans what they want to hear including bamon fans. She wrote on her blog telling bamon fans that damon liked bonnie and was continued to pursue elena because he made that his goal, but then you read the stories and its something totally different. ;)

I've already grown tired of the stefan/katherine/damon angst. If delena did happen it wouldn't matter because deep down we all know Elena would never pick Damon over Stefan in the end. Stefan is her end game. Damon needs someone who will love him and only him 100%. I don't care if it's Bonnie or another character. Besides Eelena, he has the most chemistry with Bonnie so it will most likely go in that direction. Either way, as long as Damon is happy, I am.
