Marvel continuing to raise their prices is a huge problem for me. There’s no reason a standard TPB should be $25. If this is going to be the norm for them I’m going to cut Marvel all together. I’ve already cut back on them a lot with this being one of the bigger factors (among a few others) for me. I appreciate these videos Dom. Keep up the great work!

That's why I've mostly switched from TPBs and floppys to Kindle/Comixology editions. But I still buy HCs.

Ouch! Some of those price increases really hurt. I can live with the new price of the Knight Terrors omni since that's a 1500 page monster, but I'm still glad that I've pre-ordered it very early at a good price. Thanks for the info, Dom!

Yeah. $150 for ~1500 pages was going to be not out of the realm for something like it. Reminds me of when the 2023 edition of Gleason/Tomasi B&R omnibus was pushed up. Thank ya for watching, Sehlat!

Would love to see and hear your thoughts on the Marvel Premiere Collections in another video! I feel like just picking out maybe one or two given the cost of them could be a good direction if you plan on getting them. Looking forward to the TMNT Aaron Library Edition.

I definitely might do a comparison between the F4 Hickman Omnibus / F4 Solve Everything Premier and the DD Miller Companion / DD Born Again Premier. Someone suggested something to me with the DC Compacts a couple of days ago, so I might just do it!

What si abridged about the FF Hickman issues? Just the A storyline?

Not the A storyline, but it's apparently personally curated by Hickman to be those 19 issues condensed into 1 small format? Not really sure. It's just streamlined to fit in 340 pages.

@@ReaperXC Yeah just like Dom explained. It is really more apparent with novelist like Stephen King, James Paterson, Lee Child and all those authors. They will get rid of side charesters that really do not do much for the story. Like with king the Unabridged The Stand is over 1100 pages. But the Abridge version is 800 plus pages. Its weird to see it in a comic though. I have never read this story line as I have not like FF in quite a few years. It would be interesting to see the original books and this TPB to see what they cut out.
