As cool as a grounded Batman is, I agree that we need to see a comic environment type Batman in James Gunn's DCU. Sure, we did get Killer Croc in the first Suicide Squad movie, but he was poorly done. We need one like in the Arkham games. We need something more like what FOX did with their show "Gotham". They did a good job balancing both comic and grounded versions of the characters. We need their versions of Ra's al Ghul and Scarecrow instead of what Christopher Nolan did. We need a comic accurate Bane (unlike what we saw in Batman & Robin). With that, we need new versions of Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze.

Reeves Batman is incredible. And I agree with Gunn I'm not a fan of the Burton films. It never captured the graphic novels. I do love the Nolan trilogy. But having a pure comic book Batman with more fantastical elements and with Superman. Yes give me that as well!

Of course, its a DC Batman, that exists in a world of metahumans and aliens that exist in DC. The same reason that Superman is based on an Earth that already acknowledges them, and has the superheroes and groups exist. They didn't magically appear once Batman and Superman started being heroes. They've always existed. Gunn is making a universe, not overly pandering to human relatability and the need for Batman to be...just human in a human world, with street level human affairs. Its why Snyder's Batman was older...and did things, humans can't actually do. There is a reason that Batman, as a property, is rehashed and rebooted over and over and over again. Reeve's Batman will never have a Superman on that Earth. Metahumans existing in the first place is a stretch.

@ since Deadpool and Wolverine (atrocious brainrot movie) I've learned to respect the Flash, the movie had bad CGI, yes but the jokes and the plot weren't that bad. Btw I do believe the CGI scenes were meant to be terrible because they CGI Nicolas Cage even tho they had him on set doing the cameo, and some insiders said that they had like one week to make some CGI scenes so yeah I don't blame andy, he did his best on this troubled project that went through a lot of hands, WB executives are to blame here.

Even though you stated what I said about making it more comic book accurate but they tried doing that with Batman returns and Batman & Robin But they ruined it by trying to make it more Adam West's type of style. No you're saying that it hasn't been done before but they did make it more comic book with Batman and Batman returns. They did do that. And Zack Snyder did that also. So that part is not really completely accurate on that one because it was more towards being more comic book style. Now if Warner Brothers were more on board and help with what could have happened with the Justice League under Zack Snyder's watch people keep on knocking that I was he did a terrible job but the thing is though is that he wasn't given much on the wiggle room on what he could do. Like he didn't have the opportunity be able to make animated TV show stuff like that. Cuz I guarantee you Zack Snyder had the ability to be able to get animated TV shows like creature Commander for example and had more characters put into the equation, it could have been good He could have done a decent job but everybody wants to knock on some of the things that he's recently done and yes it's like meh But I think what it was is that he tried too hard to try to rub it and Warner Brothers face by making movies that were somewhat similar to what he envisioned with the Justice League. To try to spit in their face but the thing is those that it kind of backfired because he should have just focused on doing his own thing. I think you would have done really great if you would have done his own thing cuz when he did the Spartan movie It's been a while since I've seen the movie and trying to remember the name of it but had Gerard Butler in it but anyway I think it was like 3,000 or something like that but either way he did a good job on that one and it was unique but everybody wants to knock on them because the fact that it wasn't Disney. So many people are obsessed with Marvel and Star Wars now that Disney took over. They're more Disney fans than Marvel and Star Wars fans by a big number because you ask him anything about the characters they have no idea The only know what they see recently. That's it

Cuz everything I've seen when it comes to his Superman movie has already been done. Him getting arrested I mean and not only that though when Zack Snyder did Superman yes it was General zod but instead of General zod James Scott is going to have it or his Ultraman. So you're going to have an evil Superman or whatever and hell he's going to turn him into but he's going to have this instead of General zod but he's still going to have him arrested and everything like that. The only difference is that he's going to have other characters from the Justice League and in the middle of everything while also yeah okay so kryptos in it, his dog But still. Nothing original nothing unique. I mean I know the same thing could be said was that Snyder in a way but at least when he showed off Krypton, At least he won he went into how the planet looked and he gave it a unique take on it where you made it more looking technology based than it being a frozen planet. Or at least the frozen some nature like they did and they were wrong was still a great movie but the original Superman movie. And now is that that he's knocking on Tim Burton doing Batman, his versions probably the better one of them all that was done. I mean yes ledger did an amazing job as the joker But they tried making Batman seem more realistic and yes Batman forever and Batman and Robin were more directed as being the Adam West age kind of Batman and they wanted to make it more comic book like which was okay but they could have made it more comic book without throwing too much Adam West kind of style into it.
