I've seen Don DC Curry in person he's funnier than Steve and it's not even close. Steve is just more famous and a harder worker. My favorite version of Steve over Acting, Standup, and Radio is him over the airwaves. Both are successful men in the end.

I saw DC for the first time in 1992 on one of the first dates with my girlfriend now my wife of 25 years at All Jokes Aside in Chicago the first black comedy club in the country at that time and he had me laughing so hard I was crying. We saw all the great comedians there before they blew up. It was a documentary made about All Jokes Aside about 15 years ago on HBO. That was a legendary comedy club that most people don't know about.

Steve is probably the best comedic host of my generation. Steve always had a country twang. But D.C came out the gate with those suits and that deep southern drawl. It's a video he has a red blazer "Don D.C. On O.J." you can see it. He had a rapid-fire style questioning things through comedy and sounded almost like a Southern Baptist preacher. It was unique and he had the crowds losing it. I could be wrong, but it seemed to me Steve started sounding more like that later. I'm not saying he stole his style but sometimes people will be impressed by something and subconsciously incorporate it into their act.
