Pitching the Next DC Comics Crisis Event

My favorite Crisis pitch from you guys will always be the one where everyone suddenly start aging, and the heroes take notice, so they investigate. And it turns out the mastermind is Batman, who's not aging and doesn't want to reboot anymore. Or something like that. It...It's much cooler when Sal and Joel talk about it. Trust me.

Yeah! I was saying the exact thing! I think it was Green Arrow actually. There was no big supervillian wanting to absorb the multiverse or anything, but it was just a guy who wants to settle down and have a family. It was so meta yet had a lot of heart

Some random ideas to compliment Joel's pitch: Call the Lex Luthor vs. Captain Cold storyline "Cold War" An easy way to make the Glass Men horrifying is to have glass shards poking out of them.

Tie in for The Lost ones: A one shot about Roy Harper(either he never died or is back from the dead or something), in the fissure space meeting a young girl who is less than 5 years old but very smart and responsible for her age who is looking for her parents with her half brother Tommy(Cheshire's kid with catman) ... Roy can feel he knows her and should remember her. Just something for the fans but also something that can play with the whole "whisking off characters" and things they have no memory of.

I've got a free suggestion for your crisis title, Sal. To play off the DC initials, call it "Dimension Crisis." The dimension part references the hidden dimension that Hal has created, and it's a dimension that keeps spawning crises in the universe.

I'm curious on how the Hal Jordan/Parallax character, who came to the New 52 universe at the end of Convergence and even was a character in the Telos series, could fit into Sal's pitch. It could make sense with his idea that people pop up in the New 52 universe when they reject the created Silver Age universe

I think there needs to be a Crisis where they go up against Doctor Manhattan, Doctor Manhattan becomes human again, reverts back the new earth to the Pre-52 Earth and keeping the things that worked in New 52 and Rebirth (Jonathan Kent, Jessica Cruz, Court of Owls). And then why not give us a time skip? Make Dick Grayson Batman again. Donna Troy can be Wonder Woman. Conner can be Superman. It would give the opportunity to tell the same old stories with established characters carrying the torch of the old guard. And the old guard (Bruce, Diana, Barry, Hal, Clark can be the new JSA).

I know I'm late but, for Joel's pitch. Imagine if question had been keeping tabs on all the people that had been disappearing through time and all that but no one believed him. Hebcould also be killed early on by the cult after he has tried, trying telling the justice league whatsbgoing on, after the fake mad monk appears. As well once the fissure starts taking people it eventually goes after the B listers who've become the main characters, and they use booster gold tech to jump through time to but themselves time. I get that it's like 52 but I thought I'd mention it.
