There’s no copyright issues with Spider man. Disney owns the copyright & the IP to Spider Man. Sony leases the cinematic rights to Spider Man from Disney. Sony has final say on Spider Man in terms of live action & animated movies as long as they don’t break the leasing agreement.

Huh?mYou do know that Sony has to make a Spider Man film within 5 years & 9 months after they released their last one to keep the cinematic rights to the character. So no, they need to continue making their films and they’ll continue making the mcu Spidey as well. They get to keep all the cash from the MCU Spidey film & their films. Marvel keeps all the cash from the Avengers films Spidey is in. Sony making crappy Spidey films doesn’t affect us. We can ignore them or watch them.

I just want a simple story arc for Tom's version, a grounded street level or an isolated storyline away from the mcu. All these multiverse is way too complicated to deal with. I just want Tom's spider-man to deal with his own version of goblin and build up the sinister 6 story for Spider-man's vs S6 at the end (maybe a 2 part final movie for Tom's version).

I think within this new spider-man, we should get The Osborns, black cat/Felicia hardy, venom, scorpion, vulture, kravin, miles morales, gwen stacy, knull, toxin, scream, rhino, madam web, wilson fisk. Spider-man 4 should be Spider-men vs venom, toxin & scream. And then Spider-men, venom, toxin and scream vs knull. This trilogy will lead to a spider-man, black cat, daredevil & miles morales vs the sinister six. It end's with peter going back to MJ, miles being the new spider-man and daredevil doing another season of his series. Favorite Hero: Batman

In the MCU, when live action people pass through multiple universes in Multiverse of Madness, Dr. Strange and Ms. America always changed to match the universe (they became animated themselves in the animated universe, they became paint while in the paint universe, etc.) But in the Sony multiverse, characters retain their original "form". Live action Prowler stayed live action in the animated world, animated Spot stayed animated while interacting with live action Mrs. Cheng. The two studios are not consistent with how they present the multiverse.

I am not a fan of the Venom/Knull story lines. Bring in the Jackal, have him want the Black Cat instead of Gwen. Adapt the Ben Reilly clone saga to the MCU. Bring in Miles Morales towards the end of Tom Hollands run with Marvel Films. Bad guys like Kingpin, Tombstone and even Mr. Fixit can thrive in grounded story lines. Sprinkle in characters like Daredevil, Punisher and Cloak and Dagger and you have the next 10 years lined up.

It's hypocrite for Sony to say that Spider-Man appear in Avengers or his own Movie given that he was introduced in Captain America: Civil War...even though it was more an Avengers Movie then one about Captain America. But they need to allow Spider-Man to appear in more then just his Movies. We need to see how he's being doing after No Way Home. Plus, Spider-Man appearing in Daredevil make sense since like Daredevil, he's an enemy of Wilson Fisk. Hopefully that the Multiverse Saga end.
