Yes, exactly, he made a women's shelter, he's nearly commited sucide over it after saying good bye to her, he worked himself to the bone trying to get Janet back after secret invasion's ending. Hank Pym has made up for every mistake he's ever made 10 times over but one (Ultron) and even then he's tried to scratch that number off several times over. And what will be remembered as? A wife beater who went insane and then fused with his evil robot. Hank doesn't deserve that.

In the comics, is Damage Control really a corporate entity that Iron Man uses for profit? Or is that just an assumption. Because in the movies, everyone I talk to seems to think that but it felt to me the Homecoming clearly presented it as the Department of Damage Control and it was a public agency that Tony Stark happened to run and did not profit from, because private citizens walking around picking up alien weapons could go wrong (which the movie clearly showed how that would be the case with Vulture)? I'm just curious if in the comics, unlike the movies, they explicitly say that Damage Control is a part of Stark Industries and he profits off of it because they don't in the movies and I was always like 'why do people think that?' I always chalked it up to how the movies (and comics too) encourage readers to ignore whatever large societal issues might be explored through a given premise and just assume Tony Stark is a dbag for no reason. But if that's how they present it in the comics then that could definitely be why.
