Chip's run on batman is my first time actively following a batman run. When it was revealed that ass clown was the "joker", I literally while holding my comic just shrugged my one shoulder. It was the equivalent of a wet fart in church kinda reaction. I wish batman would've said something silly like, "I knows that nose anywhere!"😂😂

I think there's just been too much 'multiverse' stuff lately. Chip's alternate reality Gotham just seems pretty basic. There really isn't much that makes it stick out enough to warrant its existence or make me even care about it or any its characters.

I just jumped into the new Batman arch reading everything right after Failsafe. I liked seeing Batman having to 'start over' and seeing his tactics work in a new universe. but yes, 134 felt a little cheesy with everything Joker related. The art is eh. obviously this is all my opinion, don't @ me

I am slowly recatching up with Xmrn so I may have missed some stuff, but wasn't Gambit reset recently? Like didn't he die in Excalibur or something and they had to use a different backup? That could explain some of his oddness or immaturity...

Yes and no. Betsy and Rachel used the Seige Perilous to bring him back, seemingly to his baseline normal self. So, in theory he should be like Wrongslide. Additionally, the Rogue and Gambit book doesn't seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on the Otherworld stuff. But, who knows what the next few issues will reveal!
