Just a heads up: the Venom symbiote first started verbalizing its thoughts in GOTG, I believe. Something about the change it went through has made it more mouthy, sort of like the Toxin symbiote in the Toxin miniseries.

Venom says "we" because it fully bonded with Spider-Man. That is why spider-sense doesn't detect Venom. Because of it's bond with Spider-Man, it can't fully bond with another being. Hence the "we" instead of "I"

Venom was wronged/vilified by Peter Parker & Reed Richards, especially Richards, for absolutely no reason whatsoever. All Venom was trying to do was communicate or be able to communicate with Parker at Reed's lab... The Venom Symbiote was simply trying to help Parker out when he was asleep.

In the comic book series of venom in the 90's the madness arc, venom talked to the symbiote in lucid waking nightmares while plagued by interdimesional schizophrenic demons, and in the end venom accepted that Eddie brock may be crazy but so is everyone else, asking the symbiote for help and it replies it could be more powerful if dipped in the waste runoff, which he does and uses the momentary buff to beat juggernaut
