Say what you will about the plot, however Jason Fabok's art is absolutely amazing as ever. Those panels where Darkseid appears behind and then approaches Scott Free/Mr. Miracle, wow, just wow, I loved how ominous and sinister Darkseid looked.

It's really annoying how easy it is for Superman to just become corrupted. For somebody so powerful, I would hope that he has the mental fortitude or foresight to stop that kind of thing happening.. but oh no, Superman touched this weird stone and now he's gone mad. Or Superman breathed this weird gas and now he's gone mad. Or Superman absorbed this weird solar energy and now he's gone mad. Or Superman is being mind controlled by this weirdo and now he's gone mad. God dammit Superman, have some contingencies.

Fun fact: Darkseid actually helped the heroes beat the Anti-Monitor way back during Crisis on Infinite Earths. He dealt the second-last major blow to the Anti-Monitor.

Honestly the climax of Darkseid War was a little underwhelming, but overall I loved the story. I love the way Jason Fabok draws Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Darkseid. The Green Lantern issue is one of my favorite issues of all time. I also love the real first appearance of Grail in issue #41 when she wrecks everyone.

In Justice league unlimited cartoon show, Lex luthor tries to bring back and become one with brainace and used Talia as a mystic conducted to assemble brainace, but due to his wrong action instead of bringing back brainace he resurrected Darkside which lead to darkside war. And Whith the help of metron, Lex luthor cross the source wall and achieved the anti-life equation, when dark side decide the destroy earth, lex luthor offer him the anti-life equation to dark side so this leads to dark side war

I think Jack Kirby the original creator of his Third World Trilogy would have his head spinning! I liked his New Gods, Mr. Miracle, and the Forever People ! Now with all the changes ; are the original comic books worth anything anymore? I still have the complete sets from 30 to 40 years ago! The changes to the DC comics universe are staggering and some are still puzzling to me. Oh well, they’re still a good read. Maybe someday there’ll be a movie or a collectible DVD set based on the comics in an animie cartoon format!

I completely agree with you on DC missing the mark by Not going through with revamping SHAZAM & The Personalized Pantheon that Batson/SHAZAM draws his powerset(s) from; with help from The Wizard of course. I've never been a fan of SHAZAM at all although this peaked my interest, til DC turned an about-face. They could've ran with new stories just from Batson having new powers and The Wizard could've caused unforseen problems by making deals with these unknown Deities. Still, my favorite & therefore the best alternate version of SHAZAM is: !!!KING SHAZAM!!! (a lil JOKER Toxin makes everything better) KING SHAZAM was way cooler aesthetically and i dunno how but TBWL's JOKER TOXIN made Batson more powerful
