Gorr is literally the opposite of Saint Walker from DC. Gorr was in a faithful community who went through a terrible time he was doubtful and the gods didnt come to help. Walker was not in a faithful community but he was very faithful, they went through a calamity and while "the gods" didnt intervene he still felt the arrival of the blue ring was ordained by some higher order which he had hope in. they even look similar!

A man figuring out his god/gods are lies, or fake, or evil because of trauma isn't exactly new. You could make the argument that Superman is a reinventing of Hercules for the modern age. Usually I am an egg head that spent far too much time in either a lab, or at the library. I still do fifty years on. But other than most of the titles I read regularly Thor was not a usual title that I would read separately. I did read, Avengers, all the time, but, still. Mannnn, next to only Loki, Killomonger & Thanos, THIS could be the next great MCU villain, complexity wise. Literally a mortal being turned to killing gods because he worshipped them & was never answered. That’s a literal thing in life, a reason why a great deal of atheists have their beliefs. Bale should do this role JUSTICE. I can imagine them have Thor of course, but Jane Foster Thor in the place of past Thor somehow since they announced she’s gonna be a Thor too in the movie. Should overall be epic. Thank you much for the info & keep up the dope content👌🏾💯

Also, we have seen him talking to the watchers in Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol 2. It would explain why some people can see him and interact and some reasons why he doesn't because in the comics, the Watchers were known to be there and watch, but to very rarely interfere or talk to super hero's individually

The artifact in question is the Chisel of the Divine. It takes the form of a simple pencil that dwells in the mystical land known as a Immortal Playground or what mortals know as ... Let's have it set in the Canadian wilderness in the 1960s and a group of shield agents arrive to figure out why this area has so many people going missing and of course they get picked off one by one and then they kill the wendigo about a third through the movie but there is no way to call for help and get home so they end up starving until the last agent finally breaks down and eats one of the fellow survivors becoming the new wendigo and setting up a villain that can be used later down the road
