I genuinely felt that the Stan Lee cameos were going to lead up to revealing him as The One Above All when he converses with Peter, using this comic meeting as the source material. It would give meaning to how he was in so many places and living different lives. He was just always there, always watching, while also experiencing what it is to be human. I don't know. I think what TOAA meant here is that he just laid the foundation for existence, it's entities and it's cosmic structures and yet he doesn't control them, he can control them yet he chooses not to because, like the Watcher, these stories are everything to him, and unless something threatens to destroy and undo those stories, he will not intervene, it's crazy how similar he is to the Watcher

I know this somewhat feels weird but when I was a kid I looked up to comic book heroes rather than actual people, particularly Spider-Man, I’ve always admired how he keeps going on regardless of how tough things get. Especially how he does what he can to help others, I’ve seen how people can get desperate or just downright depressing when there’s no one around them to help them, I want to be that person to help or at least find someone who can help them. As a kid and still to today I aim to I guess be like that character , maybe yeah it’s unrealistic but Spider-Man is the ideal type of person I’d like to be even if things get difficult.

Makes you wonder, everything that’s deemed ‘Kid friendly’ or ‘Innocent’ all have disturbing, dark, or messed up backstories. Teenage mutant ninja turtles for example is a kid friendly cartoon. But before that, the TMNT were assassins that kill. The comics back then before they were rebranded, were bloody and gore. Peter Pan has so many dark backstories to disturbing theories. In the beginning you were talking about why almost everyone loves Spider-Man so much and how he is their favorite superhero. For me, it’s really the concept of power, that can corrupt, is given to a person whose morals are good and incorruptible. Time and time again, we were shown this side of Peter, the Peter that wants to help people and feels it when he can’t save some. He is what most people strive to be and what we think we would be like when given his powers.

Id disagree with the writers take on Jehovah. I get he made the statement to highlight Peter as a hero: but most folks go through things and do come out changed: but not horrible ppl (unless its a comic...which is clearly not reality). The claim "most folks end up terrible" is the root of the untrust that stops us from connecting to bear one anothers burdens so we can come out the otherside stronger. Grief, mental illness, physical issues, etc. We all go through stuff but aren't meant to alone.

You me both my friend. But that’s secularism for you. They don’t like saying that there is a plan for life not for ill but for good. That you have free will to choose good over evil. That God is constantly working. We put trust in God and we will come through our trials better people, you don’t and you will probably end up worse than you started. This was a beautiful comic but they get key points of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit wrong. But at the very least they admit the universe/ multiverse was crated by an omnipotent omniscient and all loving God and that’s a start

When I think about this interaction with TOAA, I feel that entity sees in Peter what it sees in itself early in its life. Being TOAA is lonely and confusing at times. Fun fact, the Liz Allen relegation ship was explored quite well in the spectacular Spider-Man cartoon. It was developed quite well. She was in flash’s crowd, got paired up with Peter because she needed a tutor for her science class, developed feelings for him, went on to defend him from flash and date Peter for several episodes. But then Peter and Gwen started developing feelings for each other and Peter ultimately broke it off with Liz. It was a cool arc and I loved it. So yeah, Liz Allen is one of the unsung love interests of Peter Parker.

Loved the comic "Sensational Spider-Man Vol 2 issue #40" for humanizing The One Above All and making him appear more relatable to the readers instead of just having this cosmic entity who dictates the rules of the universe and only comes into the picture when there is a massive threat namely a multiversal one thus helping the heroes out indirectly. The One Above All is an interesting character to say the least given how rarely he appears in Marvel but his appearance to Spiderman was probably the best glimpse we got into him but maybe his meeting with Spiderman might have been even better if he shape shifted into Uncle Ben while AC/DC's "Back in Black" track was played in the background.

Peters personal life is believable and so relatable. I think Spiderman stories are compelling because having super powers doesn’t fix Peters personal problems; if anything they make it harder to succeed unless he reveals his identity, but then all of the relationships he values most are jeopardized.

This story is a classic example of man trying to make sense of something it can't comprehend. We wouldn't be able to understand a 5th dimensional being so how can the writers explain a Supreme creator's intentions

What if at the end of no way home Kevin Fiege walks up to Tom Holland and Introduces himself as TWOA and resets the world to before the crazy and the world doesn't know about his identity?

So far the only animation that Highlighted Liz Alan and Peter Parker‘s relationship is The spectacular Spider-Man animation. Which had the best combat scenes in any Spider-Man animation. I’ve seen so far to this day.

I am a person who has come from nothing, and i still have most of it left. No matter how hard i try, how much i hurt myself to get the job done, i cannot make any headway in life. I've been contemplating ending it and giving up on my crap pile of a life, and each and every day shows me that i should. I've tried asking for help, just one person to help me get a breath in life, and no one cares. when i die, no one will notice, no one will care. my body will rot away, unnoticed, unwanted, unburied, unloved... my life sucks and i really need someone to prove to me that there is good out there, there is someone willing to help....

Spider-Man to me goes above all (no pun intended) other super heroes. Even in this video shows that Spider-Man is important to Marvel and the fans of Spider-Man. Everything he's done is an inspiration to what people should ( all expect the darker Spidermen like Superior or Ashley Barton ) but Spider-Man is number 1 on my list and no other hero will take that spot because how I've followed the way of the spider to some degree. He affected a lot of heroes , villains on both side of Marvel and DC. Spider-Man is the best in my opinion, maybe beyond OMEGA LEVEL and a lot of heroes try to be like him but can never walk the crawl Would love to see Tom Holland meet Keanu in a Spider-Man movie in the way he goes through in this comic but we'll see unless Keanu is some one else then eh.

It’s interesting Peter met God and the Devil at the end before the reboot. It’s odd tho that he still made the deal with Mephisto after his talk with god
@Kopaka8083 жыл бұрын
He even spoke to Aunt May herself while in a coma through magic. May, telling him she had good life and to let her go. So the talk with god, his own Aunt, and he still made the deal.

People need to stop holding Peter responsible for Uncle Ben's death. Having great power comes with great responsibility, but not obligation. Peter decided not to intervene. The robber chose to shoot Uncle Ben. Full stop. This idea that those with ability are obligated (regardless of their own wishes) to use it to help others is just Peter's guilt for something that was never his fault. It's his way of dealing with regret, and a toxic one.
