I actually like that you go back and explain why certain characters or even their storylines exist from both a cannon and a business perspective. I've been meaning to get into reading comics from marvel, dc and the like but for a long time but the info and characters was all pretty overwhelming for me. It's because of the way that you have explained and 'simplified' these universes, characters and storylines that you have allowed me to find characters that I would like to start following in comics and story lines that I would like to read through myself (to name one: Johnathan Hickman's Fantastic 4 run). Great recap and explanation as always. You said something pretty deep and realistic at the 2:00 mark. The gladiatorial games were in fact in place to keep the masses entertained so that the truth would remain blurred and rebellions would not start. wanted to say you do a great job on these videos. I treat them like books on tape. when ever i went in a comic book store, i never knew where to start. It can be frustrating to pick up a new comic and not know whats going on. I know the basics, but most of the time that isn't enough, and you layout all of the things that a person would need to know to follow the story.

First of all, great video glad you did it. I think conceptually the tenants of the story arc are good. Tying the Old Power to the Hulk through Skaar and ultimately Galactus is a nice touch. HULK's warp ship was did not explode accidentally. Miek, the Bug guy, who eventually evolves to be the new queen, was fierce at the utter extermination of his people buy the Red King. Taking seriously to heart the HULK's own words "never let the stop paying" (that is a paraphrase, I think), Miek sabotaged the warp ship so it would explode. I am not clear on if Miek thought the ship would only maybe take out the city and not wreck the planet or not. Miek also used the destruction to spur the HULK on to rampage over the Earth. But these were major revelations at the end to WORLD WAR HULK, that helped push HULK over the edge into "Word breaker". That the HULK's whole quest for vengeance was caused by a friend, on those who only wanted him to live in peace and away from them for everyone's safety, that cost him his wife and unborn child, and a world that adored him and not feared him, plus he and Banner were at peace with each other for once. Basically HULK had his happy ending and MIEK destroyed it all and tried to get him to destroy the rest. Personally I would have liked to see a King HULK arc, where HULK is KING of Sakaar, for a while, doing some big cosmic stuff, before returning to Earth after Miek F's everything up.

58er I think Thane in the comics, he's half Inhuman and Titan. MCU verse may change its origin and race to make more sense, since Inhumans are now stranded on tv and not on the movie verse. GOTG had a lot stories with him so, we'll see what they do with Inhumans next year
