Batman is generally considered to have one of the best rogues gallery's, most of his villians have gotten really good stories with rich development. Most heroes only have a couple of really deep villians. This Clayface origin is a retcon though.

Mark Macias actually he wanted redemption, hence batman recruited him in the first place. Clayface didn't want to go nuts but because of the excess mud from the mud room causing him to go mad to the point batwoman(against batman's orders) shot and killed him, even though orphan had it under control.

I wasn't a fan of the whole future Tim Drake thing at first but, after this, I can totally see how events would unfold, leading the group in the direction we saw in the earlier story arcs. I am loving this story almost as much as I love your content @Comicstorian! Keep up the great content!!

Aston Wrath I don't think Marvel cares that they're behind on the animation scene. They dominate the silver screen and that brings in way more money than animations. Even though Marvel has been lagging behind in the comics department, they still have sales that rival DC.

I love Batman and I enjoyed every video you’ve done on him my favorite two villains to Batman is deathstroke and the joker but clay face always had a place in my heart the death of clay face actually made me cry and to see him go is very painful he was a good man he tried to be a good man but in the end all his efforts come to fail so they did what they could to make sure he stays a good man ending his life. If clayface does return, it might not retain anything left of Basil's persona. There have been multiple clayfaces before, so the leftover clay could contaminate another person to take over the mantle.

I blame the clay room. The room so obscure that even people on the team didn't know what it was, and that for some reason was built with the function of expelling hazardous materials into the base, apparently targeted at Clayface. A happy ending foiled by shitty architecture.

The Clay room may had been the final nail in the coffin but it's not entirely fault. How are they supposed to know Clayface will turn insane and rampage through that specific room? Knowing both Tim and Batman, they took precautions to keep the hazardous elements safe while also subtle enough for anybody else not related to the Batfamily to catch a hold by tracking it. Somewhere between those lines, Clayface was a loophole cause they probably didn't see him coming. Targeted by bunch of hypocritical lunatics, more hellbent on revenge by making the Batfamily suffer than doing justice for their titular "victims".

If u make the change from bad to good and work every day to right the wrongs of at least make amends u can get a happy ending sadly it didn't happen for clay. That sucks that really really sucks. Everyone deserves a chance to do better specially in real life and at times more than one chance cuz frankly no one's perfect and a lot of times it takes is a while to get it right, for a lot of people this story hits home so to everyone, don't be like Bat woman give people a chance they might surprise u and be the hero that u knew they could be. On a side note I would kick bat woman off the team. if I was bats i'd be pissed.

Maybe, but also remember both are older than us, so when you're filling the landscape with characters, it's no doubt obvious similarities. Whether it's Grundy/Hulk, Namor/Aquaman, Superman/500 super strong flying guys, and so on.
