Representation matters!! Thank you so much for having someone that’s Mexican American. Maybe try to get more Latinos on the show. ❤

I downloaded this to listen to on the plane, and had to come back to leave a "little" comment. Mal - you already know how important your work is, so thank you - again. Prisma - I could feel the pain in your voice throughout this podcast and I'm sorry it's been so hard for you - it has been for me too - and its so important to keep sharing the not so glittery coming out stories. How resilient and brave it is to decide to live and be fully you.Thank you Prisma, for your bravery. Also for sharing the sadness and grief when you come out to parents that were not ready. I feel you when you say you have to be the initiator in the family dynamics. I'm glad you can bridge that gap with them. I sadly have lost hope for bridging my gap - its been years. YEARS. I am 39, I was thrown out of the closet at 20, threw myself into the closet for over a decade AGAIN from 23 onwards, over religion, and trying to find community and acceptance, to finally coming out again a few years ago and marrying the woman of my dreams. Do you know anyone that had to come out twice in a lifetime? I'm your girl. Oh, the waste of energy spent...We as queer people go through so much. And even though the world is changing for a new generation, there's still a lot of suffering out there. Anyways, this is not therapy. Im just blabbing to the walls of the internet. Thank you, ladies, for being you.
