Thank you, I'll make sure to take your advice next time. I tried coming out to my family but they forgot. And I tried coming out to my mom but she didn't take it seriously and said a lot of hurtful things😥 But I still have loving friends by my side who respect me for it. I'll tell my family again one day.

@Mono-dt1ks I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope that next time it will be better. And if not, that at least you can be sure to have no regret. You tried. (Bit late, but I had a similar experience with some people close to me. It suck to either not be taken seriously or forgotten again and again. But I have no regret because I feel I stayed true to myself. And I hope you will do better !)

I came out to my friend today 😅 planned it for six months. The reaction was rather neutral, but there was a quite funny moment, because she asked me if I was trans and I said, no but ace :)

I kind of keep slipping it into casual conversations with my friends when dating and relationships come up, and most of them are very chill and neutral, but one of my friend's only experience with aro and ace people was her autistic siblings and roommate, so she thought I might be autistic and I was like "nope, just aroace."

I would take this advice if my parents weren't so violently homophobic/transphobic... I won't ever come out to them... I'll have to be living on my own. After that, they'll find out whenever they find out
