Why not send a smaller pump up driveway and just back mixers in there?
@canadianconcretepumper19793 ай бұрын
@@randyanderson1983 That’s what they had done previously here, but the driveway is deceiving my steep and the pump was at a horrible angle booming off the side. For safety reason they decided on the big boom setup from down below.

I was always told big is about the weight, not the reach. With that in mind, no, the 56m is not really big. That's part of why I love em so much. Compact foot print, lite weight, 161' off the edge of my cribbing, 5'6x6 boards. Favorite machine ever.

100% agreed. What’s amazing to me is that this 56Z is rated at only 72,000 lbs max. load at the outriggers, whereas our older 58Z is 90,000 lbs. The benefits of modern engineering I suppose.

Man my 31 wouldn't stand a chance against a job like that 😕. Nice job getting that big girl short rigged safely, always enjoy the description on way you do certain things. By the way what kind of camera do you have, I thought about putting a camera on my pumping adventures. Pump on!! 😁

With regards to the camera: I’ve been using the GoPro Hero 8 with the media mod case. Honestly, for what they cost, I’m not super impressed. There’s a lot of quirky little things I don’t like about it. If not for the superior audio recording capabilities, as well as host of mounts/attachments, I’d just record on my iPhone, it’s night and day better in terms of user friendliness..

Why not use a smaller pump and pull right beside the house where the contractor parked their truck and trailer?
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
It’s deceiving to look at from the street. They had used a 39M here previously (setup in the driveway as you had mentioned) and were still 50’ short at NW corner.

Pumped up quickly, but the formwork doesn't match the technology, the system is much too old.😉

Not extending rear outrigger bends the sliding deck insert
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
This is also true, which is why we removed the sliding inserts from this machine. Putzmeister actually did away with the sliding deck inserts somehow around 2016/2017 (this rig is a 2015 model year).

Change the pump direcshion and reach it
@canadianconcretepumper1979 Жыл бұрын
Not possible as the pour area would then fall outside of the allowable short-rigged working range. Not to mention the pump would then also be facing uphill and hopper would end up too high on the air (by the time the machine is levelled within 3 degrees)for the mixers to discharge into.
