Man , try to beat 7 hard " USA Superweapon " ( General Alexander ) armies with " China Tank " ( General Kwai ) army , no limit of superweapons , 5000 $ , your random color , random color and positions of bots , your position on top or bottom on map " Fortress Avalanche , play on fastest speed , i think that is one of hardest challenges on skirmish in " Command & Conquer : Generals - Zero Hour " !

Twilight is a broken map, it's the only map lagging so bad, but there is a patched version that runs a bit better

Nice video. Just 2 things one you played with unlimited Superweapons and 2 you started with the highest amount of money. I always play the opposite and if I could I would take Superweapons OFF. I won't lie it's a lot more difficult but more challenging as well. I would also like to meet you on the battlefield someday so we can show off power :)

With laser general you have to start with higher money. If you don't your defense will cave

I build a ton of them, but only to take out other SW's. I get it, it's part of the game, but there's no possible way to combat it. Or super powers (A10's, artilery strike, etc). I agree, a option to disable would make it interesting for sure

USA Laser is the best. Mad OP. Only weakness is when people target your power sources so it is smart to have a lot built in different areas and have them protected by turrets out the ass. Laser is life.

Just change the Gamedata.ini file which has a setting called "maxcameraheight" which allows you to change the camera height. The Gamedata.ini file is located in installdirectory\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\INI Editing the "Gamedata.ini" file, set maxcameraheight to something below 1000, 600 or 700 is good usually. Make also sure to set the resolution in this file to the resolution of your screen. Wide screen resolutions like 1600x900 or 1920x1080 are possible. If you haven't done this yet: set this resolution also in the "options.ini" file which is located at username\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data Make sure to do not change the options in-game because it will screw up this changes! If you don't have the Gamedata.ini file, then you should create one: github.com/FreemanZY/Command_And_Conquer_INI/blob/master/Command%20%26%20Conquer(tm)%20Generals%20Zero%20Hour/Data/INI/GameData.ini

I wonder if the computer AI gets stronger if your PC specs are faster. For instance, I am running this game with Intel Core i9 13900 (non-K) + Nvidia Geforce 4070 Regular (GIGAYBYTE EAGLE) When playing against: - Medium Army = USA Superweapon General - Hard Army = China Tank + China Nuke + China Infantry + GLA Toxin + GLA Stealth + GLA Demo I get burned so bad. The USA Superweapon General building 4 Particle Cannons and then the Chinese are sending Emperor Overlord. =/

It's actually easier to play with limited superweapons. Yes, I built 5 particle cannons, but the enemy also has the ability to build unlimited superweapons. You have to play fast at the beginning of the battle to destroy them all. With limited superweapons, all you have to worry about is defense.

I set the maximum speed of the game but it lags due to hundreds of units.

I checked the time you take to build the first supply center and your game speed is about 30 and not the maximum of 60. If you set your speed at 60 and still the game runs so slow from the start you have to check your pc. Still a nice fight, good job!

Same, I play C&C ZH since 2004. I can give you more examples: 1) kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3vPl4KZo9d9pKc - this is caused by units from the orange base getting stuck (GLA Stealth). Resolved after killing them at 2:09:00 2) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKepqIp_h9CNfrs - same shit. Resolved after destroying several enemy bases. 3) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpiclZ1maJahi5Y - this is the best 1v7 map. Always play without lags. You can read the comments, many players have encountered this bug.

If AI could calculate where to infiltrate from with larger army, and which units to hit first, it would become damn hard to handle then The official AI is extremely stupid. no defense on blind spots. keeps sending small army packs. does not work fast enough. it even sits idle for about 15sec when the superweapon is ready. does not rebuild command center, and does not work against our general's specialization, like it should build multiple buildings against air force general, like multiple command centers to avoid checkmate. It's tactic is the same stupid no matter who the opponent, BLIND. Plus there is this big stupid problem of the map not allowing the AI to build more. It just caps according to the place. Lesser space would mean more smaller brain of the AI :P So, the AI could be made smart enough to single handedly challenge you instead of 7 stupid generals. I would call that really brutal.
