Highlight section from my second Command - Modern Operations stream. Everyone wanted to see it so here it is, a land battle in CMO. It doesn't look much different then CMANO but the new land cover makes all the difference.

Glad to see that the ground units still run out of ammo halfway through an engagement (which is why that Mech infantry wasn't dying, the tank platoon was down to its machine guns.)

I bounce between Armored Brigade and Flashpoint Campaigns depending on my mood. Thepart of land warfare in CMO I'm excited about has more to do with land cover then the actual unit modeling. I've had a US Army Combat Aviation Brigade scenario outlined forever. When I was prototyping it in CMANO without cover and concealment it wasn't much fun. Think I'll be able get it to work in CMO.

@@KushanGaming It seems like really the main thing they were looking for with the terrain and making topography/terrain easier to see and utilize and so forth was more realistic ground target movement, and better close range engagements a la Apaches/UAVs/other slower moving air targets. And that to me makes a lot of sense. I'm fine with tanks and ground targets essentially being glorified punching bags so long as attacking them is genuinely challenging and fun.

Funny you should mention that. I think, starting next month, every other week on my Saturday stream on the Slitherine Twitch channel is going to be a teaching or tutorial stream. Still working the details out. Replays of that will definitely be uploaded here.

@@KushanGaming I was would watch these videos religiously and subscribe to your channel right away! Because I LOVE Command Modern Operations but I can't seem to get it started because I don't understand it properly. But seeing someone walk through the tutorials, it would be immensely easier for people like me, who understand English better spoken than written ^ _ ^ What's more, no one else on youtube has done this tutorials so far (you would have the benefit of being the first). Thanks in advance brother. I´ll be eagerly waiting
